I have NOT been able to take any photos of headstones. No longer have a camera, I broke mine, |
and can't afford a new one yet. :(
A great link for symbols on markers and their meanings:
Anyone may use any headstone pictures I upload. Feel free to make use of them for your research, that includes downloading and using elsewhere.
If you would like a Memorial transferred, please feel free to send me an e-mail. Unless it is someone in my own family I will happily reunite you!
I am a veteran of the United States Air Force. I was in from 1981-1985.
I have lived in California, (born there), Alabama, Arizona, Indiana, Nevada, Montana. Massachusetts and Germany while in the Air Force.
Some family names:
Just a few.
I am NOT a consistent genealogy researcher,
also very inexperienced, probably cuz I
am not consistent. :)

I would like to manage the site for Arthur L. Wilson #88919091 and Clara Pittman Wilson #88919182 as they are my paternal grandparents. I would like to add their other six children to the site.
Thanks for all you do for Find-A-Grave! Ida

Charles is the son of my great aunt and her husband....so, if you want to transfer to me, that would be great.

|Ed Hightower||Elijah Stanford|
This is just for your information and thought. The Memorial for Elijah Stanford states he died in Bulloch County, Georgia in 1812. Bulloch County, Georgia is a very long way from Echols County, Georgia even by today's standards. I therefore have trouble understanding why anyone would indicate Elijah Stanford died in Bulloch County but was buried in Echols County Wayfare cemetery when at the time of his death Wayfare Cemetery nor Echols County, Georgia existed. The area was not even a part of the United States in 1812 rather Indian lands.
There must be a mistake in the Memorial information, which of course is not your fault. This part of Georgia was not settled until 1825 so generally speaking while at the same time also speaking from experience finding the grave of someone who died around here in 1812 is very, very unlikely.
Good luck with your Find A Grave work. If I can help you around here with other requests let me know.
