|James Rumsey||Crabtree - Cove cemetery|
God Bless you for your efforts on getting the Crabtree photos.
LOL. Hey! Try adding AdBlock (it's free) to your computer - keeps all the ads off so you can actually see what you are doing as you type. :)
Rain has certainly been detrimental to going out graving, hasn't it? Thanks for your note!

|Eric Ihde||RE: Louis Rohrbach|
Thanks Michael. Like I said I didn't know for sure about the situation. All I saw was that Emma was living in Neenah with her son Merton during the 1920 census and was listed as a widow.
I live in Appleton so I know the difficulty with the county situation...the only thing is Appleton has grown a lot since then and it's a safe bet that it was Outagamie County.
I have also read the requirements for transfers. I realize it spells out when memorials must be transferred, but it doesn't say they can't be if those criteria are not me. I understand your decision but I thought you might be willing to transfer him anyway. No worries in the end.
What I don't understand is why the inscription on his stone says "Father" just like Emma's says "mother." However, I haven't found that Louis had children with anyone. I could see how it could have been put there out of respect for his relationship with Emma's children, but they were all grown when they married. That remains a mystery.
I was at the cemetery the other day and took a picture to add. I'll do that and suggest some further edits.

Hello. Eric Ihde here. User 48704493. I'm looking into my ancestors in the Rohrbach family and have come across your two rohrbach entries. I know Louis 74894579 is my cousin 3X removed and that he married Emma Service. I've done a bit of looking and I believe Emma would have been married before and it looks like to Duvall. Just a heads up, as that might be a lead for you. It looks like she had a number of kids with Duvall and then remarried Louise later in life after her first husband died.
Either way, could you please transfer Louis over to me so I can make edits and family connections?
Thanks in advance.

Michael, I noticed you set up a memorial page for James Ransom Roberts & Louisa in Kirk cemetery Jefferson county. Are you related to either of them??
I have been looking for a James R. Roberts that was married to a Lucinda Hurst Roberts. They have a daughter Etta B. Roberts Franklin buried north of Benton in the Franklin Cemetery.
I have not been able to locate where they are buried unless this James Ransom Roberts is the one married to Lucinda. They may have divorced or Lucinda could have died & then he married Louisa. Lucinda is my 2nd great grandfather's daughter. Lucinda's father was John Hurst b1803 buried in the Franklin Cemetery north of Benton near Rend Lake. Thank you for any information you can give me.

That would be terrific! Very well-written and I think sensitive to all facts as known. I appreciate you adding that info to Anna's memorial. Thank you.

|BjJ||RE: Anna Jones linked to Strother|
Yes, that explains things. Do you have a suggestion of what I should put on Strother's memorial to explain the situation? Someone else might come along and question the link to Anna, like I did. Thanks.
