I have been searching for family since 1975.My Dad's people are most all from Morgan co Tenn. Sir names are White,Price, Von Faustner/Forstner, Woolum, Freytag, Bryant, Hall. Sir name White I have no idea where they came from. Have Native American heritage with White and Hall. Von Faustner/Forstner is German as is Freytag, Woolum maybe yes maybe not. White sir name is also in Macoupin Co Ill along with the sir name of Weatherford from Kentucky. Hall,Price and White also in Osage co Miss. My Mom's people are from mostly Pulaski Co, Ky. Newby, Wise, Wiseman. My husbands people are from Alabama,Walton co, Fla. Davis. I was born in Danville, Ky but lived in Somerset,Ky and later moved to Orlando, Florida. Now in Tennessee and loving to be back in my mountains. I have a ton of grave stone pictures waiting to be posted. Hope they are a help to all. Please feel free to let me know about corrections. I post late at night and sometimes get them wrong. Will transfer unless it is my kin, but will be glad to post any verified information. I DO NOT MIND HELPING ANYONE WHO ASKS. BUT WHEN YOU DO ASK ME OR ANYONE ELSE PLEASE LIST ALL THE INFORMATION THAT YOU HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FIND. THAT WAY I AM NOT WAISTING MY TIME AND YOURS LOOKING FOR SOMETHING THAT YOU ALREADY HAVE. I HAVE HAD THIS HAPPEN SEVERAL TIMES. J

Re: #34985348Hirum(Hiram) Spurling
Hi J. I am trying to find the grave of my maternal great grandmother, Emily Jane Guffey Davidson Spurling. 1857-1900. I find her 2nd husband, Hiram Spurling, her parents, Smith and Jemima Guffey. But no where can I find her. I would assume she would be with Hiram, but there was a lot of years between the two deaths.
Also, she and Hiram had two more children, Charles Canada Spurling and Millard Spurling, as well as two daughters, Margaret and Manda. Margaret married a Wilson, but I am not finding much about Manda.
Thank you for any help you are able to provide.

RE: Anna Von Faustner Freytag
She was the mother to Nathan Honeycutt, born in 1860 in Morgan Co., Tn. He later moved to Clinton Co., Ky. He is buried in Peolia Cemetery in Clinton Co. His Son, William Rufus Honeycutt, was the father to my Grandmother, Georgia Ada Honeycutt Norris, my maternal grandmother.

RE: Nash cemt fentress co
just added the picture you requested. in the picture of the cemetery that shows a large tree with a white sign hanging from it, the bench with the 3 Welch names sits just to the right of the tree. There are a few graves under that tree that are just marked with a rock.

My paternal line "Tanner/Williams/Davis" all were there for more than a hundred years. My maternal "McGlothin/Walls/Jackson/etc/etc" were as long or longer in the Coalfield area of Morgan. I have lived in Middle Tn. for 50+ years, but spend lots of time near my roots. Let me know when I might be of help.
