I have been doing genealogy for over 15 years now. I have researched the Amherst/Clarence area of New York extensively because that is where a majority of my relatives settled. In addition, a small group of my family moved and settled in the Maple Grove Township of Saginaw County, Michigan. The other side of my family - one branch comes from old Connecticut and Vermont, settling in New York around the finger lakes, with a final move to the Buffalo, NY area. The other branch coming from Ontario, Canada.

My wife's family - one side goes back to Francis Cooke (who was on the Mayflower), settled in Massachusetts, moving to Ohio, and finally settling in Grand Haven area of Michigan. The other side of her family were from the south - Tennessee and North Carolina, moving to Missouri and Illinois and finally settling in Arkansas, with some moving to Michigan.

The families I am actively researching on my side include: Woodruff, Goodrich, Fillmore, Colegrove, Haskin(s), Rudd, Wood, Badger, Beiter, Blarr, Gillis, Malcolm, Mason, Schuster, Braunscheidel, Schneider, Brown, Jung, Wittenauer (Witnauer), Spoth, Herberger, Fritton, Metzinger, Therring, Emmendorfer, Lorenz, and Leising.

The families I am actively researching on my wife's side include: Bellah, Shaw, Johnson, Jansen, Andersson, Johansson, Clark, Perry, Proffer, Hovis, Wheat, Hudson, Smith, Brown, McClain, Reed, Damon, Brown, Cooke, and Warner.

I will happily transfer management of any memorials I am not a direct descendent of. Please use the edit tab on the memorial. Thanks!
I have been actively trying to take photos of the Tempe Double Butte Cemetery graves in Tempe, AZ. If you are related to anyone in this cemetery, please let me know.

For memorials of direct descendents / family members: I put a lot of time into the research of the people in these memorials, looking up obituaries and family history, adding dates and links to other family members, etc. I would prefer to keep managing those family memorials I am a direct descendent of. If we do share the same lineage, I would love to hear from you to share information and/or pictures and talk about our lineage. I would be happy to update information on any of those memorials where we share ancestors or link to other family members as needed.

RE: Albert C. Fiegl
Hi Roy - just posted the photo of Albert Fiegl's gravestone. I am not related. I was fulfilling a photo request for a Fiegl and just took photos of Fiegl gravestones as I surveyed the cemetery. I have a very good friend who is a Spoth... if you need any assistance on that line maybe I can put you in contact with him. I found a site that transcribes most of the gravestones at St. Mary's which may be of some help to you, as follows:

Good luck. Bob

Ephraim Chapman
would you please move your memorial photo from E C Chapman #58971022, in Mohawk Cemetery to Ephraim Chapman # 129630852, in the same cemetery. I am trying to remove the duplication that occurred when he was reenterred. thanks, Chuck Gay, Mohawk, NY

Albert C. Fiegl
Hi Roy. I have deleted my memorial for Albert Fiegl (1887-1972) since it was a duplicate of yours. Thanks for pointing this out. Would you like me to add the photo of the gravestone to your memorial? Bob H.

RE: Glenn Sears Coy Find a Grave
Thanks for getting back. Obviously, we both live in Arizona. I'll go on the Edit portion of the site for my dad and see if I can figure out what to do.

James Clark
Roy,

The marriage of James Clark and Marie Hobbs produced 4 children. Hillary a son, Marie (my Grandmother), Alice and Venita. Alice died in childhood. Hillary married and had several children, Marie married Ollie Doughty and had 2 sons, Jack (my father) and Edward, Venita was married twice had one son named Gene. This is all off the top of my head, but one of Hillary Clarks daughters did some research on the family and has it going back to the civil war. I will have to dig out my stuff and go through it and then I could send you more precise information.

Thanks for getting back tonme,
Diana Thompson

RE: Woodruff in Oakwood
Well, let me know if you want transfers. I don't mind that they are not closely related and I have no claim on them. TomC and I entered all the names for Oakwood because we had cemetery records, but I have no relatives there.
