I have always been interested in my family's history since a young boy. Our family held reunions and BBQs and always told stories of ancestors and relatives. My mother and father instilled in me the importance of remembering those who have come and gone, and we visited cemeteries each Memorial Day (or Decoration Day as Mom and Dad called it) to honor their lives. We are all the product of the past, and Find A Grave allows us to remember and honor those individuals who have brought us here today.

Please write me if you can tell me more of any ancestor or relative I have created a memorial for, or for any of my relations. Thanks.

Jane Mitchell Gange Hill
Thank you for posting the information and photos of Jane Mitchell Gange Hill. I am a great-great-granddaughter through her daughter Myrtle May Hill Smith. (then Raymond Clarence, then Harold Smith--my dad) We only have one photo of her and it is different than the ones you posted. Do you happen to have a history about her? I have compiled information about her children and descendents. I would love to be able to share any information that you would be interested in and I would love any information that you might have as well. I know that she had 15 children--only 5 of whom lived to adulthood. She lost 3 sets of twins and other children as well. please contact me at

Thank You so much for the picture of Fay's. The picture you took of Evelyn R Sawaya is his wife. I would like the photo also, please. I hadn't listed her yet because I wasn't for sure if she was buried there in Mt Calvary. I'm very glad to hear you have also claimed the requests for Nicholas, Gloria and Martha. They are all my husband's family members, his grandfather, Aunt and Cousin.
Thank You again Nancy
