Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a member of the San Diego Genealogical Society.

When I'm in a cemetery for a project, I also take photos and info of others there, especially vets.

The best way to let me know about changes for a memorial is to use the Edit button on the memorial. This sends links for the memorial and you. Much easier that way to find everything. And the new edit system makes it even easier.

If I have a memorial of a relative, I will gladly add/change the info, or transfer it over to you, just send an Edit (SAC) with the info.

Please notify me of any mistakes I have made on any memorial so I can fix them.
Sometimes I will post a poor quality picture, but I feel something is better than nothing. If somebody has a better picture posted, I will gladly delete mine.

Thanks, and Happy Graving

Olive Ames
Hi Larry,

I found a memorial you made for Olive. There is a discrepancy with the cemetery photo and record. Do you still have a digital record of her obit? "Obit" is the note on the memorial.

The cemetery record is of Olive Ames as is your memorial. But the headstone says Olive Skanes, with the same birth day and death day. What do you think?

Thanks for the effort, Larry.

There's been plenty of time to put up a marker, so I apologize for your wild goose chase.

Best Wishes,
Steve

Thank you!
Larry,

Can't thank you enough, not only for the pictures
but for the links to her parents (my aunt) and the obituary! You're the greatest!

RE: William Herron
I have posted the photo. I did notice that you had her year of birth as 1807 and the marker said 1811. Not sure if that was an error or if maybe the stone was marked wrong.

RE: William Herron
You are very welcome. I noticed there was not a memorial for Elizabeth Herron, who appears on the same stone with William, James and Mary Herron. If you want to create the memorial I will post the photo to that memorial as well. Thanks

RE: Marian Stern
Thank you so much for this. It caught me off guard that the stone is already missing because only she passed away in summer. We have a close up image of the headstone at the grave, but it was missing her death info so I had just assumed it would be in place by now with her death data on it. I'm going to contact the cemetery to see if they know if it's maybe out with the stone cutter still. I really appreciate your efforts though, thank you so much. I would not have known it was missing if you had not gone there to take the photo.

RE: Max Streicher
There were two shoes stores that my mother shopped at back in the 60's, Kenny's and Streicher's. Added the source for you. =]
