Thank you for the photo of Ethel Catherine Mann. I like to visit and this way I have a visual record of where she is resting.

Thank you so much for getting photos of my great-grandparents' markers! Never thought to do it when I lived in the area, so I'm so grateful to have them now that I'm far away.

|Betty Aronson||RE: Carrie Virginia ALLEN|
I don't believe I know you or Donna Waggoner Carter, but I appreciate you forwarding the information on Carrie Virginia Parks Allen and her husband, William A. Allen. She was the sister of my 2x great-grandmother, Dora Ella Parks Cheshier. William A. Allen's incorrect middle name I received from someone on Ancestry. None of the sources available to me (death certificate, gravestone, etc) said what his middle name was, so I appreciate having this information and will correct it. Also I cannot locate any information proving that Carrie was buried in Rawlins Cemetery; she is not, to my knowledge, enumerated there and she is not listed on Findagrave's index as being there. Her death certificate says she was taken to Wheatland, not Rawlins,and many of her children are buried in Wheatland. I would be interested in seeing verification of her internment in Rawlins. Donna also says that her son was William Pirtle Allen and then later says that he was William Addison Allen (Jr.). I show the son as William Addison Allen, and would welcome clarification of this as well. William Addison Allen, Sr.'s gravestone also says he was born in Faith County, TN; there isn't a Faith County, TN (nor has there ever been), but he was shown on the 1860 census as being in Maury County, TN. I've been doing genealogy since 1974 and while I'm by no means an expert, I do try to tie my information to sourced documents as much as possible. Thanks again for your corrections! Betty
