I live in West Point, Utah. I grew up in Layton, Clearfield and Sunset. I served in the Navy from 1968 to 1976 where I met and married a wonderful "Southern Belle" from Marion, Arkansas. We met in April of 1969 and married that fall on Nov 29, 1969. Our first child was a beautiful blonde girl that we named Jennifer, she was later followed by our son that we named Dean Allen. After leaving the Navy in December 1976 we relocated to my home state of Utah and lived in Clearfield for over 16 years. We moved to West Point about 15 years ago.
I descend from the Robert Bodily (1815-1892) line thru his son Joseph (1853-1926), then Fred (1877-1932), Earl (Erle)(1901-1987) and then my father was Dean H. Bodily (1927-1981. My brother, Dean Allen Bodily (1973-1969) makes the fifth generation of Bodilys in my line resting in the Syracuse City Memorial Park.
Pat, my wife, takes us back through the south following the Gregory, McFadden, Beene, Thomas and Hayes lines. | |

 | Relatives I was just looking through my relative's information and saw a picture of my great-grandmother's grave that you took. I too come through the Joseph Bodily line. My great-grandma is Emma Cora Bodily Bybee. I am not really involved in much family history, but I love learning about my ancestors. I visited her grave every year on Memorial Day growing up. | | | Record Hunter
 | Evaline or Quilla You sent the following.
"Greetings,I have been working with the Baldwin family lines. George Washington Baldwin married E.Q. Clayton 19 DEC 1886 in Lee County, MS. I have been trying to identify this E.Q. Clayton that was his first wife and I located Quilla Clayton at the age of 4 in the 1870 census living in Tupelo, listed below her brother Noah T. In the 1880 census Quilla is listed as Evaline this time along with her brother Noah T., but her age went from 4 to only 11, while Noah's age went from 6 to 16. Nether record shows any transcription errors, so I believe that Evaline and Quilla are the same person leading me to believe E. Q. Clayton is Evaline Quilla Clayton. I think the two names are caused by an age disparity in the census information. I also think that the 1870 record is more accurate with the age of 4 placing E. Q. Clayton's birth at about 1866. She died sometime after Norbin Jones Baldwin was born in 1891 and George Washington Baldwin's second marriage on 20 Dec 1896. I hope this sheds some light on Evaline and Quilla. Jim Bodily"
I added the info to the bio section of Alfred Thompson Clayton. Do you know where G W and E Q Baldwin are buried? This family was hard to track down along with a couple other of Alfred's children. Thanks for the info, hope to hear from you soon, regards. | | | OPAL SHINALL
