RE: Palestine Cemetery
No, I don't mind at all!! I like seeing the stone from different angles and from different years. I always add photos I take as long as there is room on the memorial. Since they allow "larger" photos now than in the past, many of the first photos I took when I first became a contributor can be improved on. Thanks for being so courteous. That is a nice little cemetery, isn't it!

RE: Birdie Hicks Risden
Do not feel alone. I did not know either until someone told me. Glad to help.
On the obit of Birdies home in Bates.
There was a large farm house that was used for the elderly there. It was just torn down about a year ago. My great uncle George Barnes lived in this home. He died in 1942 and is buried about 75 feet from Birdie. Also his grave is not marked.
This may be an area for burial for many that did not have the resources for a grave or a marker

Log into your membership page. Click on "edit" You will find additional info that I sent on Birdie. I noted that have added an obit, but not the info I sent thru this system.

Zook photos, Lee's Summit, MO
Hi! This morning I took photos of the Zooks, as you had requested. A tree overhanging their stones makes getting a photo that isn't dappled with shade and sunlight rather difficult. I'll go ahead and post what I got and then try again on a cloudy day. Maybe I can get a better picture then. F(eel free to remind me!)

OK, my normal guy is back and he found a location. I took marker photos and posted them.

I guess I should have said that Mary Caroline Flack McQuary was my 3rd great grand mother. Louiza's sister. (In case you didn't have George Ann listed.)

Louiza was my 3rd great grand aunt. George Ann McQuary Stewart was my 2nd great grandmother.

So, yes, we are kin distantly. Hope all is well. Thank you for linking!
Have a blessed day!
