Hello Dennis...my husband and I made the treck to Cottrell/Wilson Cemetery in Shirley yesterday. I took the memorial photos of Amanda and children of Gilbert & Martha Elizabeth 'Maggie' Eaton Cottrell. Just wanted to let you know that you can connect Amanda's mem # to John Hall Cottrell's mem as wife. Her inscription is on the side of his memorial. The three children, as you know, were Gilbert and 'Maggie' Cottrells. The death day on James Cottrell looks to be a 17 instead of 11. Also, Amanda has J. as middle initial, and her maiden name was Hopson. The middle initial H stands for Hall on John's memorial.
It was a pretty day yesterday, and the trail was fun. It is a beautiful view when standing up in the cemetery looking down on the water. I would recommend the trip to anyone.
