I will not transfer any memorials if relationship is not listed. If it is not listed in the SAC, I will just ignore it.|
NOTE: I will not be doing any transfers (except 4 generation) of any memorials for Myrtle Hill Cemetery until I get all the information on F A G. If you have info to help speed this up please send thru SAC. I especially will NOT do a transfer if you do not add YOUR F A G number and explain your relationship.
I have been researching my family & my husband's family for over 28 years. I have always loved cemeteries since I was a child. Cemeteries have always been a place of reflection and remembrance for me, even if I don't have family buried there. I currently serve as Director of the Rome, GA Family History Center, work in the Heritage Room at the Rome-Floyd Co. Library in Rome, GA, President of the Floyd County Cemetery Preservation Committee and as Secretary in the Georgia Municipal Cemetery Association. As you can see, I only do a "little" genealogy!
I am happy to make corrections or additions. Please give me time to make them. If I have not done it in 30 days, PLEASE send it again. If you would like me to transfer management of any of the memorials I have listed, please feel free to ask.
Please use the "Suggest A Correction" for any corrections or to ask for transfers. Any requests made through the messages will be deleted. You do not need to limit yourself to the 20 per week recommended by F A G, so, send as many as you wish as often as you wish! Thank you.

From Jonny Whisenant #49028573 again...
Hello again Pat,
I am under instructions to correct a brain fade in my last communication concerning Albert Hull Camp. My wife Ellen wanted me to make clear that she is not the grandchild child of his daughter Mary Susan Camp, her Aunt Sue,who never married or had any children, but of his other daughter Anna Del Camp Braselton whose daughter is Ann Braselton Wadley. I knew this! but, something went wrong between my brain and my fingers. Anyway, we can confirm that James Harrison Camp and Mary E. Beaty Camp are the parents of Albert Hull Camp and James Edward Camp and that this below is the list of their children. We will do further research on the Thomas you have listed and that is buried in the Camp lot.
Children of 1st Lt. James Harrison Camp and Mary E. Beaty Camp
James Edward Camp b. Feb. 11, 1859 d. Dec. 7, 1941
Jackson Bartow Camp b. Nov. 30, 1861 d. Dec.24, 1872
Albert Hull Camp b Sept. 23, 1864 d. April 3, 1929
Anna Camp Hickman Feb. 16, 1867, d. May 30 1948
Mary Della Camp April 8, 1868 d. March 12, 1919
Robert Marshall Camp b. Aug. 27, 1871 d. Oct. 2, 1872
Note: they lost two children in late 1872 while in Walton County
It is sometime after this that they move to Floyd County.
