Always a silent hurt,
many a silent tear,
but always a beautiful memory
of one we loved so dear.

God gave us strength to bear it,
and courage to take the blow,
but what it meant to lose you one will ever know.

A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don't worry about falls
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes we're together again.

May I add a death certificate to a person's memorial page?

Death certificates may be added via the "Add a photo" button on the memorial page. Please select the option for "Other" in the "Type of photo:" to be added, as it is not a Grave, Person or Family photograph. NOTE: Death certificates do not necessarily contain completely accurate information about the deceased. There are often errors regarding the final burial location (as well as other data).

Patrick Gannon / Margaret Stanton Gannon
Hi there,

I am a descendant of Patrick Gannon / Margaret Stanton Gannon from the Calvary Cemetery in Cuyahoga, Ohio... I wouldn't mind having these pages transferred to me to speed up the process of adding their relationships and such :) Would appreciate it!

There might be another one I'm missing, that I might have to request from you later as well...

RE: Jacob & Belle Harris
Thank you for answering. I thought you might not have known that some gravestones have Hebrew on the front with the English and others have the Hebrew on the back. I was kinda hoping that you might have it there with your photos.

I am aware the cemetery is kept closed. I live too far away to think I could ever get there myself (other side of the world!). If you would like help with any of the Hebrew, I'd be happy to help with whatever I can read.

So you can understand, not only does it give the person's Hebrew or Yiddish name, the Hebrew date of death, but for those of us who are genealogists, it will also give us that person's father's name.

Thank you again,

Thank you so much for the beautiful photo of their tombstone.

I do have a question, do you ever look at the back of the tombstones for Hebrew inscriptions on the back? I was hoping there would have been Hebrew on their tombstone.

Thank you again for the photo!

Now I just need to find their children beside my great-great-grandma, Jennie Harris Bernstein.

Hello, Dear Friend!
I am happy to post pics when I find them, especially since kindred spirits like you appreciate them so much. You are absolutely welcome to share and copy that photo as much as you'd like. I don't have access to my Ancestry account anymore, otherwise, I'd add it there, too.
There are a bunch of photos I have yet to identify and copy, but once I do, I'll happily share them.
Remind me, are you on Facebook? I have a couple of photo albums dedicated to just the Keplar clan that you'd probably enjoy.

Sending you loads of love!

New Keplar Pictures & Updates

Good and bad news. Bad news is the Lee E. Bodine (son of Florence Keplar Bodine and Lee M. Bodine) passed away a week ago (July 14th, 2016). He will eventually be interred next to Elizabeth Marie Keplar (his aunt, my great aunt) in Greenlawn, but we're still working on getting him released to a funeral home here in Columbus.

The only good news is that Lee lived in Aunt Marie's house, and my brother and I were able to salvage family photos, some I've never seen before. I just posted Carl Dallas Keplar's photo to the memorial you created for him. :-)
I hope this finds you well. The work you've done here is amazing!

I transferred both Salisbury entries to you. I am not related to anyone in that cemetery, I am just working to get all photos and graves entered! I'm glad a family member will have access to these records!
Thanks! Chris

Thank you...sometimes the obvious is the easiest! I hadn't done a search for her death certificate at all the online sources; once I did, there it was (transcribed incorrectly but a new starting point). I greatly appreciate your prompt response.
