#19955253 Sarah Ann Mellor
Hi, I am wondering if you will give me permission to use the picture you posted of Sarah for my own records and my online tree. She is my 1st cousin 4x removed. I just love having photos, it really brings a tree to life. I didn't catch how you are related to Sarah but if you are maintaining her memorial I am guessing we are cousins. Nice to meet you, my mom's maiden name is Mellor. Thomas and Ann Mellor, Sarah's grandparents, are my 4th great grandparents. I took the photos of Thomas's and Ann's stones, they are in a very old cemetery with many broken lost stones. We are lucky theirs is in relative good shape.

RE: Wasser Family
You're welcome, Vonna! I certainly agree with you. I love seeing/visiting the memorials for family members even if they passed on before I was born. It does make me feel connected to the history of my family.

Heman Jones #57691992
Hi Vonna,

As always, I am grateful for your hard work.
I have some more information for you.

Heman Jones married a distant cousin of mine, Martha Rebecca Marsh.

You have a typo on their post and listed his name as Herman. Heman and Martha Rebecca are buried at Cape Fear Baptist Church Cemetery located on Butler Nursery Road, Fayetteville, NC.

Their daughter is also buried within the same cemetery. Her name is Margaret Jones Rackley. Margaret's Find a Grave was posted by Rich Kreiss at #97949744

I am in hope that you and Rich can reconnect this family.

Also, there are two Cape Fear Baptist Churches in the Fayetteville area. The cemetery in which this family is buried is located on Butler Nursery Road, Fayetteville, NC.

Thank you very much and have a great day.

Gary Moser
Thanks for the information about Gary's relatives and why you didn't put their names. His mom Katie is still alive?

Dr. John Henry Marsh Cross Creek #2 &Charles Glover Marsh
Hello Vonna,

Thank you for your help in reconnecting families.

While virtually strolling around my 1st cousin's, 3 x removed, burial site, I noticed that his son Charles Glover Marsh is not included. #134862192

You created a listing for Charles. While another person created a site for Dr. John Henry
Charles is buried in Cross Creek Cemetery with his mother and father, along with other family members. The 1930 Census will verify this child. This census will also verify that Charles Glover was also a veteran of WWI.

Also, Dr. John Henry Marsh was one of the founders of Marsh-Highsmith Hospital in 1899 in Fayetteville. I have copies of photos and articles from the Fayetteville Observer that I would be happy to share with you.

I would enjoy seeing Charles Glover reconnected with his family. I have also contacted the other site master, Diann B. The messaged posted were from a number of years ago which made me think that Diann may be inactive.

Thank you for your endeavors. Sincerely, Cathrine.

I searched the entire cemetery 2 times and did not locate, I presume that he is unmarked.
