I am currently working on Mount Calvary Cemetery in Richmond.

I have also photo documented several cemeteries in the Hilton Head Island, SC, Kitty Hawk (Dare County), NC and Leavenworth, KS areas while on vacation.

If I have added a memorial for one of your family members just let me know your Find A Grave member number and I will transfer it to you.

Thank You

Thank you for adding my grandparents graves to this site. My mom passed away last year, and I am making a trip to Norfolk to see where she grew up and wanted to visit my grandparents grave. But I had no idea where they were buried

You saved me a lot of time by not having to search!

My grandparents were Frank Taggart Kelley and Gladys V Kelley

Is it ok if I use the picture of his gravestone for my family tree? He is my cousin's ancestor.
Thank you for all you do for findagrave!!

Kathleen Anderson Morris
I wanted to clarify why the office did not have Kathleen's name on the records.
Records before 1950 were kept under the person who purchased the lot.
If you can find another family member's name that may have purchased the lot, call the office and she will check for you.
If you find the grave info, let me know. I'll be happy to get the photo for you.

RE: Mount Calvary in Richmond
This is my hobby now since I am retired. I usually get up early in the morning and wait for my mother to wake up so I work on Find a Grave. She thinks I am nuts but I enjoy it. I wish I could spend more time when I am in Richmond to photo more but she is usually in the car so I have to be quick. (That is her picture on my bio so you can see what I am dealing with. LOL) But I have found many long lost relatives that we didn't know about. I will continue to send edits and you do the same since I have added memorials either with the headstone or information I found in the Richmond Times Dispatch. You learn alot from obits. Thanks to you and your buddy - keep up the good work! And no, thank goodness, we did not get the flood waters, I am in the Fort Mill area but 70 miles south of us in Columbia had a terrible time as well as the coast.

RE: Mount Calvary in Richmond
The answer to your question is that I have not completely done an entire section but if some of my family is in a section, I will take several photo's around them so you will find my photos everywhere. I grew up in Richmond and my 98 year old mother and I go there to put flowers on family's graves in Westhampton, Hollywood, Riverview and Oakwood. I will be back in a couple of weeks to put fall flowers on graves but I won't take any pictures in Mt. Calvary. Could you ask Jim Glass a question for me? My great grand Aunt, Linda Lynch is buried in the field with no headstone but her name is on the website. Could you ask is this where she is buried or is it a guess since there is no headstone? On the map she is near C. R. Sharp (Charles Sharp). Thanks.

RE: Mount Calvary in Richmond
Hi Ron,
Thank you for doing this as it really needs to be done but I live in SC and when you sent me an edit I started researching the person and found that these people from St. Lukes have been forgotten. I go to Richmond about twice a year and I was looking for my great grand aunt buried in the field behind section 3 and took several more pictures and added them to find a grave. That is where the pictures came from and it could have been from this Sept. or sooner. I just got carried away and started searching other people and sent you edits. Some I have found buried there but they are not on Mt. Calvary's website so I am thinking they are the unknowns so I added them. If you want I can stop sending edits as I don't want to rain on your parade! I hope someone does this for Riverview and Oakwood too. Thanks for all you are doing!

RE: George A Bruner, Sr.
Thanks. I'll take any Bruners, Morrells, Bulhellers, or Humphreys. These are all on my father's side. My mother's are all in Hollywood Cemetery or Westhampton. Ant chance they are on your agenda?

RE: George A Bruner, Sr.
Thanks very much! Most of the Bruners are at Holy Cross. I haven't had a chance to photo our Mount Calvary relatives' headstones yet.

Please link him to his parents. I know about his wife's line descending from the Heald family. Thanks for writing.
