Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a professional photographer in Cape May New Jersey USA. For about 26 years I was a musician also, and had a band called the "Washington Street Band" for two years, and "Southwind" for twenty four. Stopped playing when the photography business expanded. I used to take vacations in Ireland and photograph megalithic tombs, some of which were like works of art. I guess what I add here is the logical progression of that photography. Since 2001 my work has extended to the National Marfan Foundation (www.marfan.org) to whom I volunteer services. The attached photo was taken by Jonathan Barkat and appeared in Business Week Magazine. Thanks John!

Thomas Millett Hand
This suggestion was rejected as being in the wrong field when I mistakenly sent it in the "Marker inscription," thinking that I had clicked "other correction." I think I had confirmed that the grave beside his is indeed his wife's.

He was recently widowed when my father was sationed in Cape May in 1940, and he lived with his son at his parents' home two doors away from his oen homwe while we rented it unril the outbreak of WWII and my father's transfer. He was Mayor of Cape May and his father and family owned the newspaper.

The T M Hand memorials
Being right there in Ape May you should be in better position than I to check my submissions, If you happen to contact Tom Hand he mat remember me although we have had no contact since My family left Cape May in February 1942. He and his father lived in his grandparents' house two doors from his father's, which my family rented from them after his mother died and we arrived in town, and he and I were in 5th grade and started 6th together andc wee both altar boys at the Church of the Advent, with a summer location in the middle of town and another winter location separate.

Hi Tim,
Is it possible to delete one of your photos on the memorial 11810924 you have two of the same photo posted, probably from when the system was acting up on Find A Grave. There are others in this cemetery if you would like I could send a note if I come across anymore but this one is out of spots and I would like to post a close up of the door.
Thanks so much Tim have a great day.

Link up?
Hi. I'd like to link your memorial for "Cousin Ernst" with the rest of his family. He was my great-great grandmother's first cousin. He, his brother, his parents, and his aunt and uncle lived with his grandfather, my greatx3 on Conti St.

Doug:

Thank you for sponsoring this memorial and for providing the burial location and picture. Now, if we could get the memorial moved to the "Famous" section, where it belongs, that will be a fitting tribute to a tortured comic genius.

Please unlink from spouse Ida Benham as this is a duplicate of memorial 9335014 and also not in the correct cemetery (you added his first wife Ida's gravestone photo to the memorial). Ida is linked to the correct memorial. This duplicate should also be removed.
