Request for Information
I am Odie McGowan. I noticed you were thanking Cindi for a photo of Benjamin Clark. I've been trying to find information on a Benjamin M. Clark. Could they be one and the same? When the 1900 census was taken, he was 34 years old. Did he have a brother named Robert and a son named Hosy? Was his mother's name Faney?

RE: Emily F. Bowling Bowen
The Rush Cemetery is in pretty bad shape. The markers are getting real hard to read. There are a lot of Bowens there, just can't make them out.

Thank you for your reply. But this does not add up in any way. Mary ANN is the daughter of my 4th grandmother and father, Luke Ward who died in 1821 Hempstead Ark, Married to Rebecca Drew Ward Ward and Eliott. After Luke Died and she had to post bond for each minor child share of the estate, Which was, L .Jackson, Susannah and my grandmother Rebecca Julia Ward, who died 1889. She had applied for James Walker Wright pension after 1869 when he died, She was finally granted her widows rights after she had died. Rebecca Drew , Married William Jesse Ward in 1826, He died in 1850 and she married Middleton Elliott .His two children married her children from Eliott. She was 30 years older than he was, PRivate story, you can email me private and I will tell you,Sister Clarissa Ward married James Hardy Hunter, sister's(Mary HUnter) Son, James Owens Higgins.Elizabeth Ward married William Wright brother to James, and Thomas Wright who married James Hardy Hunter daughter Mary ANN McClendon Hunter, She was my ggrandfathers first wife. Rebecca Julia is Elizabeth Wright mother and the 2ne wife of my ggrandfather William Edward Hunter, You see I know what I am talking about here, Not one White name is associated with these lines, Children of Luke Ward and Rebecca Drew. in ORder. Mary ANN and Nancy where both born in N.C. Nancy married George Beloate or Belote, Clarissa, Elizabeth, L. Jackson, Susannah and Rebecca Julia Ward born 1811 Tenn. There is not Daniel or John Ward in these Lines. Have never proven William Jesse Ward and luke are related, I have all of Drews lines if you like it and Luke,Sr. Rest of marriages for Luke;s Kids. thank you again, Nice to have someone that is so nice to talk to. This line of Wards like the Hunters are not Indian.

White and Clark,
Thank you so much, But I cannot figure how the got White in her name, That name did appear In Thomas Carr line. Like I said it is not a Ward name, Mary ANN Ward's mother name was Drew and I have all the families names on both sides, all the way back to England, There is no White in the lines, Also the same for the Clarks .Unless it is related to the MCClendons? But what would that have to do with WARDS, Mary ANN used the naming system.
