Bio Photo •The new "CAPTCHA" system for "Suggest any other correction or addition" is too much of a "PIA" (and in my view TOTALLY UNNECESSARY for member to member communication) so going forward I will be sending out VERY FEW of those type of edits and memorials that I would have otherwise sent those types of edits will now have to wait for somebody else to come along and point out errors and or omissions in those memorials not covered by the other edit system choices and the memorials will be WRONG or INCOMPLETE until that other somebody comes along. SORRY but that is that.•

•NATIONAL HISTORY SHOULD NOT BE BURIED like people are, regardless of if a piece of history is deemed as good OR bad by this group or that group.•

As of 8/25/15 (the day before National Dog Day); Forget Pittsburgh, GO CINCY!!! :)

To me, criminal and civil LAWS and privacy of the living are paramount and those that violate such should not lecture others about things here that do NOT violate criminal and civil LAWS and privacy of the living.
Obituaries because of copyright LAWS and privacy of the living; Obituaries in/AFTER 1922 ARE NOT PUBLIC DOMAIN so please stop saying they are; plus the site protocol CLEARLY states:
"Do not copy obituary notices from newspapers (or from funeral home notices or web sites) to an individual's memorial record unless you have permission from the newspaper to do so or you are the author of the obituary. Some obituaries that were published in 1922 or earlier are now in the public domain."
The part of the site protocol that says: "If the obituary is added to the memorial record, list the newspaper and date the obit was printed": IT ALSO SAYS (including repeat of name of newspaper part):
"Please do not include the names of living or surviving relatives in the biography, unless you have their permission."
AND "If you do not have permission to copy an obituary to a memorial, you may put a note stating the name of the newspaper and the date the obituary was published."

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE people it is US Marine CORPS not Corp; US Army Air CORPS not Corp; US Army Engineering CORPS not Corp; US Army CORPS of Engineers not Corp; US Women's Army CORPS not Corp, US Women's Army Air CORPS not Corp and so forth!! Corp in military terms is for CORPORAL (as is CPL) not anything else.

Also, Ft. Hood (for example) is a US Army POST NOT Base.

As far as I am concerned, those that ROUTINELY create memorials for people that they KNOW are STILL ALIVE (REGARDLESS of their birth year) are morbid but if they are not positive that the person died but create a memorial anyway, I figure they are either uncaring if they have died and just want another memorial made under their name or are just too plain lazy to confirm the death. And I have zero respect for such actions and those that doing such actions are to me not trustworthy and they should NOT expect me to trust them nor go out of my way for them. I will NOT link to memorials that are for someone that is STILL ALIVE because memorials are NOT supposed to be made (except If someone is making a memorial for/about THEMSELVES) for the living.

If you see a memorial that I created but do NOT manage and the memorial includes an obituary in the bio please know that I was NOT the one that added it but it was added after the memorial was transferred.
