Jasper Crain
Hi Janet,

Jasper Crain is my great grandmother's father. Finding the 1908 pic was very cool. I'm only a few hrs into my genealogy research and am looking forward to learning more.

Thanks for posting the pic & info.

Jane send me the information on the Lewis in Madison Co. Alabama and I will see what I can do. I have a way to look into where it might be located.

I think the cemetery that you are looking for is t the "WHITE-LEWIS-HILLIARD CEMETERY" It is in Madison, Al on the outskirts of the county. I looked up the information and I believe these are the relatives you are seeking. If not just let me know.
Good Luck,

RE: Request for Info

The marker is located on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville (Redstone), Alabama.
When I do a look up of the cemetery - there were many located on the arsenal. I put together a map of places/locations where the property was/is located. In some cases, they were in pastures where 'bunkers' are located. Most of the sites were located down range in a 'secure' area of the arseanl.
I wa snot allowed access to the sites mainly becuase someone woul dhave to 'escort' me the whole time I was out taking pictures adn it just happened during a goverment shutdown. maybe once things pick back up here and getting close to Spring again, I'll try once more.

I am interested in photographing this cemetery and noticed that you had visited it a few years ago. Do you have and would you be willing to share directions?
Many thanks!

Francis Wesley Lewis
Hi Janet
I would like to have your permission to use the pic you have of Francis on his Find-A-Grave site. He was married to my 3rd Great Grand Aunt, Judith Ann Jennings Duval. I appreciate all that you do on Find-A-Grave and if not for people like you, people like me would never know of long lost relatives.
Thank You
Shirlene Williams Kirchain
