Bio and Links
Bio Photo Cowgirl Genealogist from Western Texas. Some of the names I am researching include:

I am presently trying to prove my Cherokee roots through the following lines: BARBER, FLOURNOY, NOLEN, JAMES, ALBRITTON, McDONALD. These people started out in South Carolina, came into Georgia, then into Alabama, Louisiana, thence to Texas.

I have other American Indian lineage that I am also attempting to document.

RE: Wyatt lineage
Wow!... We have had significant trouble with this line. What is the manuscript called? Who wrote it? The connection from James Wyatt to James B Wyatt to William Wyatt are the problems most troubling to us. We can connect George's brother Charles to his father William and George to Charles. We have trouble with which William Wyatt he was.We need to get a copy of the manuscript. Where is it located ? Thanks much Your cousin Greg

hello, i have been doing research on this side of my family and found this memorial. this is not where he is buried even tho the death cert. says such, it also says william rice-bullet, ky(or so it appears). after talking, i feel this person to be buried in the william rice cemetery in oil springs, johnson co., ky at the junction of rt. 460 and 825. i was told that when 460 was built it took some of the cemetery so it is now up on a hill w/only about 30 marked and twice that unmarked. nathaniel, his twin sister mary and their mother sarah blair/ramey are in the william rice cemetery in oil springs. i will be adding them to it, would you concider removing the memorial (s)? if you like, you can send me a list of the names and where they are buried of the ones you are in question of and i will let you know if they are there providing i have that info. thank you for all you do, i feel blessed to find people like you to do this. blessings, donna

Indian heritage
You may already know this, but Mattie Levina Cowden Lawson
was supposed to be full blood Blackfoot. Her daughter Wanda is my maternal grandmother. I'm not 100% sure, but all of my moms side tells me that.

Wyatt lineage
Hi Lisa. We are researching the Wyatt line. My fathers maternal grandmother was Sarah Alice Wyatt. Father John Wyatt. His father Joseph Wyatt. His parents George Wyatt sr and Delilah Nations. We believe the line tracks back through William Wyatt and further back to Haute Wyatt of JamestownVA . The proof is pretty tough to find. I saw your post on Find a grave and wondered about your evidence linking George Wyatt sr to William and Mary Wyatt. There are some who believe that this William Wyatt was a revolution war veteran. What can you tell me.
Also we are researching multiple lines in Hopkkns and christian counties in KY. We recently went to Bowling Green Ky and looked up some info on George Wyatts descendants last name Fox which I noted as a surname you are researching.
Thanks for your post on Find a grave.

RE: I couldn't find George and Delilah's graves
My pleasure. I live in Mississippi but get back at least once a year. Last year I finally connected my Sidney Wyatt in Union County to Sidham Wyatt from Hopkins County. They are the same person.

I couldn't find George and Delilah's graves
Hi, my sister and I visited Hell's Half Acre last week; it is now called the Lynne Cemetery. It is pretty primitive.

I found Mary Jane Wyatt Brown's grave but not George or Delilah's. Did you ever see George and Delilah's graves?

They were my 3rd great grandparents.
