I'm a retired chemical engineer living in the Houston area, though my wife and I grew up in Austin, Texas. We are researching the branches of our family that spread from Central Texas to East Texas, over to Alabama, Georgia, and all the way up to Ohio. We have found this site to be extremely helpful to us, and we hope that we will add information that will be of help to others.|
We have been searching Texas and Ohio cemeteries for Cox, Whitt, Koos, Blower, Stewart, Davis, Cherry, Ely, Hubbard, Zimmer, Miller, Watson, Cross, Hurley, Locke, and Braly, but in the process of looking for our relatives, we have been taking additional photographs, especially in cemeteries where not many photos are available. YOU MAY USE ANY OF OUR HEADSTONE PHOTOS without asking our permission; however, we would appreciate receiving credit for our photo.
If we manage a memorial for your relative, and it is not someone related to us, we will be more than happy to transfer the management to you. Unlike some contributors, we usually do transfer non-direct relatives such as cousins, aunts and uncles.

Annie Bader is my maternal great grandmother. I have been looking for her data for some time, but put it aside for about each year. Thank you for her head stone!!! It is beautiful and very much appreciated. I do have info on her spouse, Louis Bader, who died in Washington State. What is your relationship to the Baders/Euckert families? I'm very excited to find my great grandmother. Thank you, again. Joyce Stroeher

I'm sorry it took so long to reply back to you I've been out of pocket. Now on Elizabeth "Betsy" Newton Watkins if you will search you will find that her other son Eliakin H. Watkins is in the same township in both the 1880 and the 1900 census. As far as the relationship with the children I have a very old faded family tree that belonged to Elvira Watkins Nesmith. It lists all the children's names to include Orlando!! It shows Louisa, Jonathan, Elvira, Emory, Eliakin H., Amy M, Jasper N, and Orlando F. I'm still working on finding some of the kids but I've found a few it's still a work in progress.

Thank you for your efforts to find her grave. I noticed that another volunteer had posted a picture on her page and that they spelling on the gravestone is ALMAND.
