I am working on my family's genealogy. I look forward to finding information wherever I can find it. This is a great place to share some of the information that I have and hopefully help others in their research as well. |
Thanks to all of you who have helped me find family member's gravesites or who have taken photos of them for me. That means a lot to me.
My family surnames include -
(maternal) Barram, Booker, Cary, Colclasure, Hardin, Keefe/O'Keefe, Lee, Martin, Motherspaw, Phipps, Sheahan, Stalcop/Stalcup, Towsey, and Wilkinson.
(paternal) Bradford, Copeland/Coplen, Eady, Grismer, Hay, Heard, Henry, Jackson, Karsnia, Meller, Norris, Pope, Schindel, and Varner.
My husband's family surnames include -
(maternal) Cain, Hanna, Leary/O'Leary, Preuster.
(paternal) Boor, Bussard/Buzzard, Cessna, Harclerode/ Harcleroad, Hardman, Kinser, Stiffler, Weicht/Weight, and Wertz.
I love hearing from those that have connections, so please feel free to email me. Also, please understand that not everyone that I put on Findagrave is a relative. I have put a lot of local and surrounding area people on here in the hopes of helping others with their genealogy.
I am currently not photo volunteering, but if you have any questions about photos I have added, don't hesitate to email me or message me.
If you have an addition, family link or correction, please, please, please use the EDIT button. It may be a pain for you to use, but it certainly helps those of us who get several requests a day to add information to memorials. It takes us straight to the memorial without having to search for it, especially when there is just a name given with no memorial number.

James is listed as buried in "Hooks Cemetery" in Kountze Tx. But in fact He is buried in "Old Kountze Cemetery".

you are welcome---I meant to respond before now. If you are interested in any of the photos in larger resolution, let me know. I will keep them on my computer for a short time before deleting them.

How very kind and generous of you to offer. Yes, I would be pleased to maintain his memorial and hopefully find his parents to link to him one day!

Thank you for transferring my great grandfather to me. I really appreciate it.

Thank you for the fast link of Joseph to his parents. His granddaughter Ruth Hull Robertson wrote the book (Bedford Co. Historical Society) about the family & cleaning up the cemetery of which she was very concerned about.
Very interesting family. Isaac HOLL/HULL of York Co. PA in his 1784 estate records had a large amount of books & tools. You can see the influence of this through the grgrandchildren in their occupations where you have builders & even a violin maker.
The stones in the Hull Farm Cem. are very well taken care of & have survived. So many of the Bedford Co. stones now are unreadable. At least now they are being photographed.

Wowsa! That was so fast. (I have young adult children, so am used to no one listening to me, I guess.) Anyway, thank you. I really appreciate the transfers, and will take very good care of them, preserving your Find A Grave contribution with respect and gratitude. All best. -Amy

I noticed you have a group for Abilene High Graduates. My mother graduated in 1946 from Abilene High. After years living in Illinois, she moved to Weatherford, Texas and is buried there. Feel free to add her to your group.
