I follow FindaGrave's written guidelines regarding transfers (direct relatives within four generations). This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis. A transfer request will be considered ONLY if your exact relationship to the deceased is provided to me. Otherwise, your email will be deleted.
I am ALWAYS glad to add family links, make needed corrections, and to add appropriate bio information (if no bio has been added).
Aubie Wise Graves #42513112 Ron: I don't believe Aubie is buried in Mount Zion Cemetery in Winn Parish but in First Baptist (Verda) in Grant Parish. She was not listed on a survey done at Mt Zion in 1992. There is a tombstone in Verda Cemetery with the name of Aubie Althea Wise wife of Fred Rankin Graves *84027577 and there is also a Fletcher buried there which I believe to be her son-in-law. I am doing research on the Wise Family and am a bit confused. Thanks for your help and all the research that you do.
Ida Gertrude Cleaveland Bonner 17 Apr 2016 Thank you for putting Ida on Find A Grave for me to locate her. I'm trying to up-date and/or link this family together for future genie people. Thank you, too, for the transfer, though I didn't ask for it. I'm older and need to be getting rid of my Find A Grave memorials. But, since she is updated, hopefully no one will have to add anything except maybe an obit? If you have any of those would appreciate you putting them on the memorials. Thanks again for all and your work at Find A Grave. It makes this a WONDERFUL genie spot. Bobbye Varner
John Bolivar Banister Ron, Thank you for transferring my husband's 2nd Great Grandfather's memorial to me. Will add bio and manage. I appreciate all the fine work you are accomplishing with findagrave.
You asked that I delete a duplicate of Zackary Taylor Johnson, and I did. I see there are other duplicates in this cemetery. As I know the cemetery, it is miss-named in findagrave. The cemetery lies in the area called Griffin Hills and has been known as the Griffin Hills Cemetery as far back as I can remember. There was a site on findagrave for a Griffin Hills cemetery, but it no longer exists, so I suspect there was multiple pages for the same cemetery, with different cemetary names, and they were merged, leaving some duplication. I see you added a page for Malissia Spears in 2007 (18506075), and I added a page for her in 2009 (44251544), so by rights I should delete mine. However, this is my great aunt, sister of my maternal grandfather, and I've added family related information on mine. I wonder if you would consider removing yours, please. Interestingly, your page lists her name as Malissia, which is the name on her headstone. But her name was actually, Malissa.
Roxie Cruse Hi, Ron! I have corrected her maiden name. How does one incorporate her 1st married name into her name title so one could find her if they only knew that last name? Thanks for your help. Tommye
