First off I want to say I transfer memorials if they are not a member of my family. I ask the same. I have all my immediate family already but when it comes to aunts, uncles, and cousins I feel they should be with family. I enjoying doing this for others.

I have been doing genealogy for about 40 years. I started cemetery searching about 30 years ago in Texas then Mississippi mostly for my family names, now I search for others. Sometimes I wonder just why I do this then I remember how I feel when I get a hit on someone in my family. Searching cemeteries is also a history lesson.

I have learned a lot in cemeteries I learned you might not take it with you but you can darn sure bet you can spend it all before you go.

I am researching basically the following surnames:

Thank you very much for posting the markers for my friend Irene and her husband. She was the sweetest lady to everyone and lived to be a Centurion!

RE: John Graf Tombstone
Thank you for the information. I come from the Graf line. My Grandmother Ella Graf came from that line. Some day maybe I will be able to get there and visit the place of burial. Thanks again.

RE: John J Carr
Hi Sheryl,

I don't recall any previous discussions about a John Carr. The burial record you provided is for a John Carr who was buried in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in St. Louis in 1912. Your photo request is for a John Carr that was buried in St. Peter Cemetery in Kirkwood in 1901. The Archdiocese has a burial record for him online and the details match those on the FindAGrave memorial. I see you have several photo requests for Carrs in that cemetery. I'll see if I can get over there soon and find the headstones.
