If you want any memorials I have added, please go to EDIT and request a transfer. I do not do corrections with just a number, I also need a name. The only information I have is from the grave stones. I am not into genealogy. Feel free to use any of the photos I have on findagrave. If you have a better photo than I have, please let me know and I will be glad to delete mine. They're not always picture perfect. I do make mistakes but I also cheerfully correct them. God is good.

 | Jonathan Hubbard gravestone Thank you very much Betty. I really appreciate your efforts. I'm researching Underground Railroad activities in Mendon, IL, which was a major station NE of Quincy, IL. Jonathan played a big part in this; I've found his home a mile south of Mendon, it is still lived in and the hiding place under the stairway is still there. He, along with many others in our little town, were originally from Guilford Co, Connecticut and very much anti-slavery. They also had prices on their heads from the Missouri slave owners; but none were ever caught and no "cargo" was ever returned. It's quite an exciting 'ride' in this research and I'm finding more homes or families that are probably active or sympathizers.

 | RE: Patrick Murphy He was orginally buried in Fairview, his obit stated that they were putting an elaborate monument, but then they moved him to Mount Hope, I am sure Kelly would have access to info that would show when he moved. Good to hear from you! | | |
