I was born and raised in KC MO. served during the Vietnam Era in the U.S. Navy. I've worked at many different types of jobs over the years but mostly in electronics. I have always been interested in old cemeteries and after running across Find a Grave became an avid "Graver". Most of my family think I'm bonkers but I have my wife and a brother and a daughter who have also become members! I spend most weekends traveling around central Missouri trying to locate small, older graveyards as well as getting photos for other members. I keep all my full sized photos on file in case someone wants them.Just e-mail me and I'll send them along. If you have bio info on anyone and want me to post it,e-mail me and I will post it. I do not add obits as per Find a Grave rules.PLEASE DO NOT ask me to post obits as a bio, rewrite as a bio and I will post.|
It is best to not copy obituary notices from newspapers to an individual's memorial record unless you have permission from the newspaper to do so. In general, obituaries in newspapers are submitted by the family. If the obituary is added to the memorial record, it should list the newspaper and date the obit was printed. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices from memorial records.
Obituaries for "famous" individuals are usually written by newspaper staff and can not be posted to Find A Grave.
Sorry for the lateness om corrections, will be catching up this week7-28-13

Thanks Steve...again appreciate your good stone pictures and your transfer. The hard work is what you have done, rain, sleet and summer bugs. Cleaning and transcribing the stones the really hard, even though I love doing it you are a master at it. Thanks so much for your work. You have made Find A Grave a better research place and helped so many find their loved ones.

Are you related to Elmira Alice Fisher Yaryan? She is my 2nd Great Grand Aunt and I am trying to find out where she is buried?

Was doing some input and noticed there are two Akinsville postings. Do you know about this? One needs to be deleted I believe. Could you look at that? Seems you have posted the face pictures on both? Just wondering how it can be fixed.

I just wanted to thank you for the repair and the picture of the stone for John . You are very caring. John is part of my Wickliffe family. It is wonderful to see this old stone cleaned and taken care of. You volunteers on Find a Grave make all of us so happy with the work and effort you put into Find A Grave.

I certainly hope that I didn't forget to thank you for posting the photos for Lucretia Hall & John Jacob Hall at Waverly Cemetery in Waverly, Lafayette County, Missouri. So, I hope this is a duplicate thanks for the effort & time you gave to fulfilling this request. It means alot to be able to visit my relatives' graves in this virtual cemetery!

This person is not in Buffalo City Cemetery! The problem with this cemetery is that it is right next to Oaklawn Cemetery. I have used older transcripts to find the divide line of these cemeteries. When you switch yours over to Oaklawn cemetery, I will delete mine. This person is definitely in Oaklawn Cemetery.
