| Bio and Links | I really enjoy digging for my family's roots and I also enjoy helping others connect with their family roots.
Whenever I take photos, I try to upload them to USGenweb Archives tombstone Project as well as FindAGrave.
If I end up adding a memorial for a member of your family, PLEASE do not hesitate to ask me to transfer it to you. This site is most valuable when every memorial is lovingly tended and updated by family members.
I would be remiss in not mentioning that most of the cemeteries here in Alameda County, CA are huge and I am not able to walk the whole cemetery to find your folks. Several of the cemeteries also have policies of not providing location information to volunteers. For these reasons, I recommend that you contact the cemetery ahead of time for a location and add that information to your memorial. Where possible, I will contact the office for location information, but I confess that requests containing location information make it to the top of my list.

 | Your message: I would appreciate your making the following additions: Connect Mary, #69163358, as the mother of Thomas, #69163455; Joseph W., #69163521; and Elizabeth, #69163604. Mary was born Mary D. Farrow in Kentucky. Her spouse was Griffin B. DeAtley (1804-1870), born in Virginia and died in Indiana. Their children, that I know of from census records, were all born in Indiana and were: William (1830- ); Thomas (Nov 1833-1915); Joseph (1836-1892); James (1840- ) ; and Elizabeth (Sep 1842-1925)
This family is not at all directly related to me, but it is of interest because they are maternal ancestors of my half brother. Again, thank yu for your contribution to findagrave that enabled me to find the burial site of this portion of the DeAtley family.

 | Keeports - Arlington Cemetery Hi Kay - I happened upon the Keeports stone at Arlington this weekend and have uploaded photos to your memorials. Also on the stone are Robert F. and Emma K. Devenny. Would you like to create these memorials or shall I?
