I met my cousin Agnes Terry, and stayed at her historical house in Houston several times.I know she found our blood line to the D.A.R. and her son Peter was a Sons of the Confederacy.I saw a picture of him in his uniform.I would love to talk more,I left you my phone # 7344746120.Please call me.I'm a little puzzled,I thought it was McGary not McCreery.

RE: Maglietto/Balsano
Hi Virginia - I don't know if I replied to you or not - it's been so long - I'm the one who published the Maglietto reunion book you have from 2001. So...the only info I need is... who were you married to in the Balsano family and... what information can I give you for your daughters?

this is my 2 great grandfather and I would like to know where this cemetery is. we still own the farm at Southern Home or Waveland now is what it is called I think or riley township. I know his first wife is buried out in the field and maybe the second, his third is my gggrandmother Rachel Emanza Joanna Watson McGraw Smith Hicks and she is buried at Rock Creek Cemetery in Waveland.

have you ever seem where Thomas H and Agnes Arnold Smith CC's parents are buried. This is a mystery to most of the family, I am doing ancestry and trying to fill in the blanks any help would be greatly appreciated. Linda Corbin Ford

Thor Chester
The Chester's in Magnolia Cem.
Howdy. I'm T.E.Chester and Louis Frank Chester was my great great grandfather and his son Louis Frederick Chester is my grandfather. L.Frank is the son of Sidney Jefferson Chester and Mary C. Bush. Mary died while visiting family in TN. Both though were from NC. Sidney, Mary and their four children moved to Texas prior to 1880.
Louis Frank and his wife Ella Mae (Towns) are buried in Magnolia as is their daughter Lois who married a Moore. In fact, they are all four together.
Would you mind if another person who has Sidney's page on here would be allowed to link to this page?
That way I can get all the family for lack of a better term, linked up?

PS. Another family member, John Watts is also buried there as well. He does not have a marker and I'm working on getting him one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ora L. Moore
I can not find Ora listed on 1880 Census you mentioned. So I wonder if you have any other evidence that Thomas Benton Moore was her father....

RE: John Warfield Sr
John Warfield, Sr is my 8th great grandfather through his son Richard. Then through Richard's son Seth(6th great grandfather). My family them runs through Seth Jr then Seth the III. Seth the III had a son named Charles H. Warfield who is my 3rd great grandfather.
I guess we are distant cousins.
How does your family tree run?

RE: Raymond Hutchinson Baker
I sent another message, but she never responded to me either. I did want to let you know that I passed on the message. I don't know if she'll respond or not.
Also, I photographed some grave markers in Ennis TX, at the Myrtle Cemetery in Ellis county with the last name of McGrary, are these some you're doing research on? If so, I'll get back with you once I get a memorial established. I have a couple of hundred more photos & not sure how long it will take. Hope you have a happy & safe memorial weekend!
