Bio and Links
Bio Photo September 2013.
I just discovered this site and am learning a LOT about my family history.
My family's names are: Knepper, Graham, Pringle, McNicol and Bracey.
Thanks to this site, I found and 'met' my father's family. No easy task, when his mother died in childbirth after having his youngest brother, and his dad left them. The children were too young to know much about them except that their mother was from Caro, MI. My aunt remembered that their mother's maiden name was the same as her married name...that's how they met. They were introduced by someone else with the same last name.
Thanks to all of you who do this! It meant the world to me to 'find' them. Now I'm on a quest to find out more.....and in the process I want to help others...just like someone helped me.

Thank you !
Thank you for the photo in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Saginaw. It looks like you had a gorgeous day, and the grounds look lovely. Thanks so much for your time and efforts. I really appreciate having a look at your well considered photo, and thank you also for the helpful captioning.

RE: Ernest Dembowske in Columbia Twp. Cemetery
I have added the photos. Now there's another problem. I see the parents are still linked to my non existing memorial. I thought once the memorial was deleted, the link would delete also. Do you know how to fix that? I might have to email a site manager.

Actually I will be deleting my memorial. I looked before I created mine for Ernest, however I did not check under the name Ernie (which someone created back in 2010). I'm still learning!

RE: Ernest Dembowske in Columbia Twp. Cemetery
I drove back to Columbia Cemetery today. I'm glad I did. When I photographed Ernest's headstone in May, I did not notice his military marker mounted on the back of the headstone. That marker, as well as his parents headstones all read Dembowski. Not sure why his stone as well as some family search records read the other spelling. I think I will change mine to read the (i) spelling and add some kind of note. Thanks fir bringing that to my attention.I will be linking the parents as well.

Hello, I received your edit for Ernest Dembowske 129662310. I have to check into it a little more before I can approve the edit. I noticed the parents last name is spelled differently. Not sure if the creator of the parents memorials just spelled it wrong. Do you happen to know, are you a relative?

Thank you for taking the time to look for her headstone. I have found in many instances that young children didn't have a headstone. Kinda sad! Thanks again.
