Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am in the process of volunteering at/working with Owen Cemetery, (Thomas Township, Saginaw, MI) to record all of the names of the people buried there and photograph all grave sites.

September 20, 2014
It's become important to me to provide as much info. as possible for anyone looking for family members, so pardon my edits....but I'm hoping they'll help people find the correct family members, or just add info for people who are looking for family connections.

September 20, 2013.
I just discovered this site and am learning a LOT about my family history.
My family's names are: Knepper, Graham, Pringle, McNicol, Bracey and Uptegrove.
Thanks to this site, I found and 'met' my father's family. No easy task, when his mother died in childbirth after having his youngest brother, and his dad left them.
Thanks to all of you who do this! It meant the world to me to 'find' them. Now I'm on a quest to find out more.....and in the process I want to help others...just like several others have helped me.

Thank you
We live on the west coast and I am so very grateful for your time and energy to photograph my ancestors graves so far away from us. This infromation is so valuable and it gives me a sense that they were real, not just names on a census sheet. May the Lord Bless you for the help you have given complete strangers. Have s wonderful day.

I know. (As I read this again...did I say Barnett was her father? Not what I meant...he was her brother. If that is the case, so sorry. I often do this late at night. Barney's memorial is 20977456, at West Clear Lake in Skagit Co. Washington. I hope you will add him and if this is what I did, good thing they have checks and balances in this!!)
I am in contact with Marilyn Graham, who is, I think, her g-grandaughter, who also has her name as Buck . The name received several spellings in the 1860s, including Buck, Back, and even Black. Our line, which is from Bernice's brother, Barnett Lewis Bock and his wife Nellie Demmons Bock. My grandfather is his son, James Fitchue Bock. Barney and Bernice's father was William C. Bock and their mother was Julia K. Cory. If you are of this line, I can send you, by e-mail, what I have. I can put you in contact with Marilyn
I do not have info on where William and Julia are buried though I believe it to be Arkansas.
Sorry this turned out to be so much blather!
Thanks, Reverie

It feels especially good to find out who the "unknown" heroes are! Have a good day.

Sorry, i just got to the note about Harry and see that the marriage date is listed as 1915. Perhaps your other note was a simple typo. I'll add that to the bio.

I didn't know Harry was married a second time nor that he was in Oregon at the time. As to Ethel being buried downstate; perhaps she was and then she was moved? Anyway, she is in Alden now.

Thanks again.

Thank you for the information about Ethel. It appears that her information has been incorrectly recorded in several ways. I don't think she married Harry on 7/19/1950, in the year of her death. Tommy was born in 1916, so i'm guessing they were married in the teens sometime.

Thanks for all your work on Find A Grave!

Thank you so much for the photo's of Mother's headstone. I live out of state so now I can see the final results. My mother was a beautiful person in so many ways. I will miss her.

Thank you,
Skippy
