A big "Thank You" goes out to everyone who sends any info and links for the memorials I've added. I regret that I cannot thank each of you individually, although with the new Edit system you now get computer-generated acknowledgements that your suggested changes and/or additions have been accepted. |
I got interested in Family History in 2007, and in 2008 and 2009 visited hundreds of my "dead relatives", as my wife so descriptively put it. (I did meet many live ones, too.) Most of the graves I visited were close relatives of my great-grandparents and one great-great-grandmother: their siblings, aunts and grand-aunts, uncles and grand-uncles, and first and second cousins.
My great-grandfathers were:
James McCullough Minteer, Jr.
Joseph Warner Wright
Marsh K. Renshaw
Robert John Woods, Jr.
Feel free to use any of my grave marker photos any way that you want to, as few (if any) of them have any artistic value which might be covered by the intent of the Copyright clause in the Constitution. (Please note, however, that this only applies to photos with my name under them. For any others, you will need to contact the person who added them for their permission to copy and use elsewhere.)

|Bill Bodkin||RE: James T Lubon in Resurrection Cemetery|
Sorry, don't have dates and not sure if he is there but just thot John T and James T were the same. Bill
|SKDolley-Burgess "Susan"||Thank you!|
Thank you for Murlina Dawley Wood transfer!
Question: Did the headstone actually have "Murlina" inscribed on it? We always thought it was a mistake a census taker wrote..but if it was on her headstone then it must be correct.
|Patricia W Drenten||s/s?|
I'm a pretty new contributor but have no idea what s/s means. Please? And thank you. Patricia Drenten, age 80, Texas
|Kelly||RE: John Hart|
I made a note at the bottom of the bio. Sorry I was so testy. It's been one of those weeks but I don't need to let it carry over to others.

Our Wood/Dolley family thank you for the transfer.
My Mom got the info many years ago from the cemetery that he was buried there. He is in the old section and either did not have a stone or it's gone or unreadable now. She got the info before some of their records were destroyed. Because of this, we will probably never know for certain the names of everyone buried there. I do not list someone in a cemetery unless I am pretty positive they are buried there.

Researching Mary Jane Lubon buried in Resurrection. You list her on the same stone as James T but don't list him in the cemetery. You do list John T. If it is John, can you list him? Thanks for all your work. Bill

THANKS for transferring Edna to me. I do greatly appreciate it.
Thank you for searching the cemetery records, and explaining the process! I appreciate your efforts, and I have made the suggested change.
