Bio and Links
I have been doing genealogy research since 1983. Besides researching my family and my husbands, I am researching the "other" families of our grandchildren. I love helping others with their research.

Feel free to contact me for any problems or you would like me to add bio information. If you want something added to a relative's bio type it up and contact me through If you are related to someone, I am willing to transfer ownership, only if I am not related to that person. I am only related to one person in Hatboro Cemetery. Contact me through NOT through email.

Please DO NOT send me obituaries. Since I learned they are protected by copywrite, I will not add them. If you write a bio, I will gladly add that. I am in the process of removing the obits I have added and writing bios for the people. But, I will not accept any more obits.

RE: Grave Photos

Is it OK with you if I save your grave photos to my Private Family Tree on ancestry, com?

Calvin A Brumfield
Dear Joan,

I was hoping you could give me any information on Calvin A Brumfield. You added his tombstone pic to FindAGrave. He was my husband's maternal grandfather. My husband was adopted and he just learned the identity of his birth mother, Shirley A. Brumfield, from the Dept. of Human Services, Delaware County, Pa. Calvin was Shirley's father but we cannot locate Shirley. Any assistance from you would be deeply appreciated.

Sincerely, Sharon Turner

EHC Huenkes

I am close to finishing the original 8 blocks of EHC Cemetery. In Block 8, Lot 43 is listed as owned by William Doerschner. The Clerk records Harry and William Doerschner interred there and two others with names I have never seen before. Their names are "Harry HINKE" [interred 20SEP1884] and "William Ernst HEINIEKE" [interred 25JAN1885]. Knowing the spelling problems that exist in the records, could these really be HUENKEs????

I don't understand what you don't understand? I was simply editing the memorial, adding the information I learned about him. What is your question, Joan? S.R.F.

RE: Edits
I have some Downs graves in Hatboro Cemetery that say they are still outstanding, but it looks as though you have done them. Maybe the system hiccuped! :-)

RE: Edits
I do not know what they were. There is no list that I can find once someone deletes them. If you declined them I could see them. Where in the country do you have memorials? Or what family names?

Louis Garnich
Hi Joan,

In trying to make sense from the crumbling grave markers of the Garnich family in Block 6 I pulled the US Census records and found conflicting years of birth for Louis. (1880/b.1860 - 1900/ b. AUG 1860 - 1910/b. 1860 - 1920/b- 1860)

1900USC was the only one to use the month and year. The others were done in April/May and only showed age at the time of collection, so they were 19, 49 and 59 years respectively for the others.

This would not be the first headstone in EHC to conflict with other records.
