|Linda (Crago) Stahl||from Linda Stahl's son|
This is Linda's son. I added a link to the 18th PA Calvary page to William Martin's bio. If this isn't what you wanted, please contact Linda again.

Tony, I read your message and looked at the memorial and I'm sorry I don't know what I need to do. I am not real smart when it comes to computers. The memorial looked ok. Sorry I didn't understand. Linda

Tony, will transferring Wm Martin to me take him off your PA civil war list. I don't want to do that because of your wonderful list. I hope that wouldn't happen. Do you know? I hope you know what I mean. Linda

Tony do you ever transfer grave to a family member. My great grandfather was W. H. Martin. I have been trying to connect him and his other Martin family members. #76268455
One of his family members in Ohio, I just discovered, was also in 140th PA - not Cavalry. Linda Stahl

I will have to go back and check with the Park Rangers, there was a listing for a White in the 148th. Grave 28 is an unnamed grave with two persons in that location.

Would you prefer I transfer mine to you?
|Joanne Schul||RE: Davd Bishlane|
Did I tell you he died of Typhus? I would be happy to put you in touch with my relative whom I met on Ancestry. He is also a Beishline and his records are incredible. I am sure he would be thrilled to help you.
I am happy it was helpful, I was impressed that I was the one who found him there. After all of the people who had searched for him, he was said to be in an unmarked grave, and then I found a list of his unit, and it had info on the whole unit, including his grave location.
Email me at Pecafan@aol.com, and I will respond with more info on David. Please write Beishline in the subject line, okay?
Great work you are doing!

Thank you. Common mistake. Appreciate the correction.

Oh, it was a pleasure to take the photo. Daniel's wife is a not-to-distant cousin of mine, so they were on my list also. I have several direct ancestors from the 18th PA Cav, and I appreciate all your work to document their service to our country.

You are very welcome. Many stones in this cemetery are "buried" under grass and/or mud. Others are very old and unreadable. The majority are in good shape. Always glad to honor a Veteran.
