Diantha Gillette and Columbus Delong were my 2nd great grandparents. I would like to manage theer memorials, if you wouldn't mind transferring them to me. Thanks for all the work you have done for Find A Grave.
|Wrdsrus||Question re FAG 102011477 Marion Mulhern Culllen|
I could not get through on your AOL address attached to this memorial.
I am helping a Mulhern cousin with his tree-Find A Grave Memorial# 102011477
and Marion appears to be in his family--do you know WHY she was raised by someone else?
Both parents were alive so this is not making sense to me--unless of course they were having financial difficulties--common in those times---also does not make sense to me that she is listed as born in Middletown when her family lived in NYC
Can you explain what happened? Was she adopted perhaps?
I am leaving town tomorrow AM so won't get your response for a week or so but I am very curious as to what happened if you know
If you have ancestry.com here is a link to my page on her and her family
PLEASE let me know if I have attached this to the wrong person--Thank you

|Janet Price||Harry & Amanda Lowden McLain|
You have Harry McLain and his wife Amanda Lowden listed in Madisonville Union Cemetery, Madisonville, PA and East Canaan Cemetery,South Canaan, PA. Memorial Harry - #96302303 & 51495211. Amanda #51500952 & 96302356 I previously added the picture I took of their stone in Madisonville Union Cemetery. You may want to verify your records and remove the duplicate memorials.

I added a photo to this memorial that you created. - Kevin
Re my earlier message:
I now see the earlier memorial shows the name as Makely but the headstone shows Makley.
I have contacted the other contributor, Jesse Alt to confirm if she knows which is the correct name as she is directed related to many of the people buried in the cemetery.
I will let you know her response.
Thank you for all your work in the PA cemeteries.
Madisonville Union Cemetery, Madisonville, Lackawanna, PA
George Makley - Memorial #42512928 is a duplicate of Memorial #30975898
Rebecca L. Makley - Memorial #42512959 is a duplicate of Memorial #30975900

|Rob||Sarah J. Underhill|
This is regarding the burial information of Sarah J. Underhill (Find A Grave Memorial# 70878848) in Dimock Cemetery. According to the information, Sarah is described as "wife of Dewitt Clinton". This seems improbable as Dewitt Clinton Underhill b 1811 d 1901, bur. in same cemetery, had a daughter Sarah Jane b 1845 d 1865(?) as reported in Underhill Genealogy Vol. 6, pg 1543 (pub. 1980). I do not reside in Pennsylvania, but can this Sarah's grave stone, if any, be checked again to ensure the information is correct or not? If Sarah Jane, daughter of Dewitt Clinton Underhill, dies unmarried, she may be buried in the same cemetery. I have no other information if she was married or not. Thank you for your help and efforts. Regards.
