Let me start by saying, I take pictures of every stone in the cemetery. Therefore I have know way of knowing if the person is still living. I mean no harm by adding them.|
Everyone deserves to be recognized with a memorial. Please keep in mind that deaths are public record. Cemeteries are also public.
I am more than capable of adding links. Please just send request through the edit on each memorial, instead of asking for transfers when I may be related also.
Please do not ask for transfers if you are researching family surnames. That isnt fair to the actual descendants.
Please send a message through the edit, on each memorial. That way I can find the memorials quickly. If they are in my family tree at all, I may choose not to transfer them.
Please do not leave rude remarks on my page. I love doing this to help others. The more info included, the better.
A few that I research on my father's side are Hicks, Hutchens, Hunt, Clay, Coleman, & Barnett
On my mothers side, Eldridge, Griffin, Garrison, Futrell, Woodall & Hopkins.
My husbands side include Butler, Yates, English & Brien from Calloway & Marshall Counties, KY.

I am glad that I came across this picture and this name,it is one I have heard for several days now. I just started about two months ago digging up the history of my family. This is one person that is somehow related. I'm looking for someone that is still alive that can tell me about the family that I never knew. This seems to be one of them. Thank you

Hi, I was searching for grave of James Reid and came across your photo from Marshall County, KY. I can't tell from the picture if there is a date or what the names say; there appear to be two names. Just wondered if you have any idea - especially about a year. The James Reid I am looking for would have died between 1830 and 1836.
Thanks so much.

Thanks for adding her family.
|Valice Raffi||Sam and Annie Redden|
Thanks for linking them together, and linking Sam's parents!
How fun, I love finding "cousins". Of Course, if I'd read your bio, I would have known they were related. I've done extensive research on the Tennessee branch of this family. James Sr's brother - John - his child Elisha went to Tennessee and started a long line of Briens in Nashville. I'm sending you my email address in an SAC.

Kathy, thanks so much for letting me know you were making it possible to add some additional info. I wasn't expecting it to be so simple and easy (not many things are now a days) Before I do go onto the site and add the information I must speak with my Mother first to be sure everything that I have is accurate. My Mother grew up with this woman in her life and would be able to verify and confirm that what I go to put in is complete. I will be doing this over the weekend (11/1 and 11/2) and should be ready to do the editing by the first of the week, please let me know if that would be alright. Thanks again.
|Loreen Parke||Thank you for what you have done.|
Kathy, I have spent years trying to get information from the older members of my family so that I could search for and know for sure where my Great Grand Mother was buried, as I was just over two yrs. old when she passed away in Michigan. With the help of my Mother, and thank god for the internet, I have not only found where she was buried, but I have found that you have created a memorial for her and today, at the age of 49 I have seen my Great Grandma's head stone and final resting place for the very first time in my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Loreen Sallie Parke
