Going forward, unless there is a compelling reason, I will only transfer listings of people someone knew closely, i.e. parent, child or close friend. I'm sorry, but someone who died 200 years ago could be related to thousands of people. I prefer you add one of my listings under your umbrella using the virtual cemetery feature at Find A Grave. If you have additional information, I will happily add it and list you as the contributor.

Also, please do not ask me add an obituary to a person's memorial. See Find A Grave policy below:

Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?
It is best to not copy obituary notices from newspapers to an individual's memorial record unless you have permission from the newspaper to do so. In general, obituaries in newspapers are submitted by the family. If the obituary is added to the memorial record, it should list the newspaper and date the obit was printed. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices from memorial records.
Obituaries for "famous" individuals are usually written by newspaper staff and can not be posted to Find A Grave.
Please do not include website addresses that may be listed in the obituary as they usually expire within a year after the obituary is printed.

Rich, the grave marker names seem a bit off. Wm is buried next to a Muriel not a lady named Mildred
thx for the fact check.

Nellie Mae Holmberg
Hello,
I'm hoping you can help me get correct data on Nellie. She is the daughter of Thomas Richard Ferguson and Harriet Moss, my aunt and uncle. You have different parents listed and the mother was born 6 years after Nellie. Could you please tell me where you got your data? I don't want to add this memorial to my tree if it's not my family. I appreciate any help you may be able to give me to resolve this.
Regards, Dianne

Joel Parish: #12296566
Hi Rich,
I'm trying to reconcile the many Joel Parish/Parrish(es) - the individual you have identified as Joel Parish (grave #12296566(, b. 5 Oct 1739 I believe may have died at Hebron, Tolland, CT on 9 Oct 1755, and thus he is not likely to be the Joel Parrish you have listed on Find A Grave.
There were at least 3 men named Joel Parish born in CT around the same timeframe and one of them did marry a woman with the maiden name of 'Hawley', the sister to a Maj. Aaron Hawley. Will you let me know the source information you have for grave #12296566?
thank you,
Cathy Fields

Hi Rich,

My name is Holly Mullin and I am the graveyard rep. on the DPC History Committee. We are in the process of photographing headstones and updating information for all of the persons interred in our graveyard.

Thank you for all of the work you have done to manage graves in our churchyard - I also see that you photographed the edifice of our church and posted that online.

Would you be willing to transfer the graves you manage to our committee? The advantages would be less edit requests from us to you, and also perpetual management, as ours is a standing committee at DPC and there will always be someone in the future to manage the graves. We just had a large group of graves transferred by FindaGrave manager Tom Myers and he remains being credited for the original entry - if that is a concern to you.

If you choose not to transfer, then I would ask that you please identify us as the successors should you become incapacitated.

With Sincere Thanks, Holly Mullin
