I authorize anyone to use my Find a Grave images in Wikipedia or their own family research, under the creative commons attribution license cc-by-2.5, where the attribution is 'R.E.H.'."

Going forward, unless there is a compelling reason, I will only transfer listings of people someone knew closely, i.e. parent, child or close friend. I'm sorry, but someone who died 200 years ago could be related to thousands of people. I prefer you add one of my listings under your umbrella using the virtual cemetery feature at Find A Grave. If you have additional information, I will happily add it and list you as the contributor.

Also, please do not ask me add an obituary to a person's memorial. see Find A Grave policy below:

Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?
It is best to not copy obituary notices from newspapers to an individual's memorial record unless you have permission from the newspaper to do so. In general, obituaries in newspapers are submitted by the family. If the obituary is added to the memorial record, it should list the newspaper and date the obit was printed. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices from memorial records.
Obituaries for "famous" individuals are usually written by newspaper staff and can not be posted to Find A Grave.
Please do not include website addresses that may be listed in the obituary as they usually expire within a year after the obituary is printed.

Agnes Reddington
My question is regarding Agnes A Reddington DeVIGNO died Jun 2004, buried at Holy Cross Cem, Bergan Co NJ.

Is this info from her gravestone? I am asking because there is a Thomas Gerard DeVINGO at the same cemetery married to an Agnes: "Mr. DeVingo is survived by his wife, Agnes (nee DiLella)"-- long obit added to his memorial.

Is this a coincidence--Devigno and DeVingo? Both married to an Agnes, or did someone add incorrect information by assuming this was Agnes Reddington? Any clues?
Thank you.

Jacob Newton Alpaugh
I am confused. I am working with my ancestor on the Alpaugh line. I see that Jacob had a total of 3 wives. Ok, that's no problem. However, I find him listed in two different towns (same county) with a different wife in each town on the 1900 census. The wives names match the ones on Find a Grave and the birth dates are correct. I hope you can clear up my confusion.

Thank you so much,

Margaret Tate

RE: Helen Patterson
yes now that you say that, I saw that. I wonder why I e-mailed you. People who want to do geneology research should do it when they're YOUNG with young memories.

RE: Helen Patterson
The baby boy site that you created is 9201005. I created the Helen Parlin (Patterson)site (89200984)and linked it to the Raymond Elwyn site.

I was originally thought Elwyn's middle name was Charles and posted it that way on ancestry.com. But I found his name to be Elwyn Clark when reading his cousin's book "The Parlin Geneology" Every where else I find his name it is simply Elwyn C. Further evidence is that Raymond Elwyn Parlin, Elwyn's son from his second marriage named his son--Elwyn's grandson--Elwyn Clark. So I concluded I had been mistakenly propagating the name Elwyn Charles.

So my question would be where did you find the information you posted on the 9201005 site?

Thank you

Helen Patterson
Are you related to Helen Patterson? My grandfather was her husband. He married again 3 years after she died and named his first son by that 2nd marriage Raymond Elwyn and his first daughter, Helen Joyce.

I never knew he named the baby boy that died, Raymond Elwyn. Where did you get that information?

Thank you
