I am a mother and grandmother that started doing family research to help my oldest son obtain a merit badge for Boy Scouts. Now I do research every chance I get. I would like to help others find their family. My oldest Granddaughter has now started helping me with our photo projects. She loves going to the cemeteries and praticing her reading on the head stones.|
If you wish a transfer of a memorial to you, use the edit button and send to me. State the relationship (no matter how distant) and I will be glad to transfer to you unless I am related also. I think families and friends should be together.

You have Larry Gene Capps headstone picture attached to Robert Edsel Mitchell. Is there a reason behind that?

I believe that the Aarons at Parkdale in Arlington including Gary 52846245 are mother and son, not spouses.

Hello, I visited the Parkdale/Arlington TX Cemetery today 05/31/2014 and could not find my brother's grave. I did, however, find his name listed on your site. His date of death was 07/29/1966 though, not 1986. He was only 15, looking forward to turning 16 in October of '66 and he was ambitious and had already begun applying for jobs. He was a handsome young man, but he never got to that sweet 16 age, nor those jobs... he died tragically in a horrible auto accident on Jefferson Street in Grand Prairie, TX. He loved the Beatles, he was very neat with himself... I believe he would have become an honorable and successful man had he lived. I was 17 and the tears only flow now if I allow myself to think about that tragic day almost 48 years ago, because it still hurts if we allow ourselves to dwell on it. Bonnie Gabel Johnson

Hello Susie, Your Memorial Page for Doris is a duplicate. I noticed this when I tried to place a photo on her Memorial Page. Thought you would like to know.

I hope you and your granddaughter know just how much her curious and your indulgence are appreciated by me and my family.
Thank you both very much for taking the time to photograph his grave for us.

Thank you very much for transferring Thomas J Doss' memorial to me.
Do you happen to know if he was buried alongside another Doss or something?
I do not know who his wife was or if he was married but there is a Maggie Mae Doss listed on his Draft Card that I can not place in the tree since he was one of eight brothers and no sisters to my knowledge. Thus, that might be his wife but since I had no idea about them or where he was buried until now, I'm not certain.
Also, I'm trying to locate memorials for three more of his brothers, Samuel Smith Doss, Virgil Denton Doss and William Henry Doss and I do not know where they are buried either, so I can not create memorials for them, but perhaps they are buried in this same cemetery too?
Regardless, thank you very much for transferring this memorial to me. I have linked him to his parents and added a photograph of him.
