|My wife and I do genealogy so we have been in a lot of libraries, cemeteries, court houses and outhouses all around the USA. At first, I started photographing only my family and friends' tombstones. It therefore became a duty to take pictures of all the markers in the cemeteries throughout Ellis county.|
Several of the names and dates which are already listed that do not yet have photos, contain many errors. After taking their tombstone pictures, I have noticed those mistakes when comparing the actual inscriptions with the information that has already been uploaded. I also see a lot of people listed more than once, which throws off the number of graves indicated.
If and when I make a mistake please e-mail me and I will gladly correct it. If the person is a relative or friend and you wish to manage the listing, I will happily relinquish ownership and transfer it over to you. We are members of the Ellis County Genealogical Society which meets the 1st Monday of each month, 7:00 pm, at the Ellis County Woman's Building, 407 West Jefferson Street in Waxahachie. Membership is open to anyone interested in family history. Dues are $20 per calendar year and includes a subscription to ECGS quarterly publication, Searchers & Researchers.

|Marilyn Solari||William Frank Stovall|
Ray - on your Memorial #47791072 created in Feb 2010 for William Frank Stovall in Auburn Cemetery, Auburn, Ellis Co., TX, I note you show 2 wives for him, one being Cleopata Brown [correct - 2nd wife] and the other being Margaret Vaught 1869-1919.
What is your source for Margaret as a wife of William Frank Stovall? She couldn't possibly have been a wife of his. For one, the 1900, 1910, 1920 and 1940 census all show his wife as Cleo. For another, she couldn't have been a 1st wife as she ws only 12 years old when his first child was born in 1881.
I am not related to William Frank Stovall but am working with a very close friend of mine who lives in Texas and is related to him. Thanks for your input! Marilyn R. Solari firstname.lastname@example.org
Just saying hello. I saw your last name and location and was reminded of a GG uncle who is buried at Myrtle in Ennis - namely Berry.

William Hampton McKeever (McEver) 38389133 I don't think Andrew J McEver is his father, he's his brother... I'm sure Robert Collins McEver is his father...
Andrew married Delphia on 22 Oct 1835 and William was born 25 Jan 1835... Andrew is my 3X Great Grandfather and in the documents I have from my grandmother, there is no mention of William Hampton in the list of Andrew's children...

Thank you for the transfer. I was happy to sponsor her page and surprised to get the transfer. I recently saw her story on Dateline and decided to look to see if she had a memorial page.
