Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Illinois and love genealogy and find a grave. I like to try and fulfill any requests for fag and am willing to help anyone who needs it.
I am willing to transfer any sites I do to family members. Lately I am getting emails asking about Information on some people that I have input. Please use the EDIT BUTTON. I am not into how many photos I can post with the information like it is some kind of race to do the most. I just want to do the best job I can and I am always open for suggestions on my errors when asked.
This is a great site for people looking for genealogy family and for loved ones.

Hi Janet,

Maybe mistakenly, I thought that since the public information act applied to any published obituaries?

...& since this is 2015 & 50 years have gone by that this would be allowed??

Would it be safe to allow any obituaries - even those typed be reprinted on any memorial?

Just wondering....

Dear Janet,

Thanks for locating my grandmother's tombstone. I had been looking under Holt not her second husband's surname, Harrington!

My Family had only one misplaced photo of her. Now we have her tombstone photo and one day may locate her photo image and add it to her tombstone.

My family and I are truly appreciative of your locating her tombstone and text and contacting me.

Thanks one again.

Last Wednesday morning I shot all of Section 17 before noon and on the way back to Decatur I had a mild heart attack. Had a 99% blockage they done a balloon on Thursday and I am feeling good. I have Sections 1 and 16 to shot yet, but that will have to wait awhile. They told me that the definition of a heart attack, I had one. It was mild and didn't do any damage. Getting bored already from sitting, but I have a lot of pictures that I can work on,.

If you are referring to the library site, that link takes you directly to the search page and typing in her name in the form near the middle of the page (Earp, first box. Margaret, second box), the info comes up below the search boxes. You don't even have to enter the Twp. or cemetery fields -- just her name.

RE: jane turner
I should have added a few other things.

A distant cousin is part of the research team for the LDS Family Search site. He has been working on this part of my family recently. (He is related to me on mother's side.)

He says the confusion for her maiden name being Turner, came from a death record someone found.

Theodosia's father - Calvin Fletcher Leturno is memorial # 117417365.

My wife and I have only been researching our families for a few months. I was working on her family and only recently got into researching my maternal and fraternal family lines. I am amazed at all the misspelled names and other
inaccuracies, I am finding. There are so many we cannot find on Find A Grave, and cannot find obituaries, etc, for in the Decatur newspapers.

Theodosia is my great grandmother. She was the mother of my grandmother, Carrie Belle Dobbs (#46199993), who married my grandfather J. Robert McAnelly (#69442711).

My father is James Richard. McAnelly who is listed as one of their children.

Are you related to Theodosia?

Someone needs to do this and I have the time. Greenwood is intimidating until you get organized. It is a lot of space and old markers are hard to read. I need a book. Memorial Park, I am the old guy walking about with the camera, clip board and broom. I sweep them off and try to clean them up. I mapped my family plots at Tower Hill Cem. a years ago. I have a lot of cemeteries shot for my own use, I need to go through them and see what I need to pull out.
