I've made plenty of mistakes starting out.
Still making corrections. If you find something that needs attention, let me know.

1)read the FAQs

2)It is not necessary to manage a memorial. Owners will update it if you ask.

3)It is your responsibility to suggest a correction/addition (submit a SAC) the proper way. Read the guidelines. Requests not made in this manner or left on this page will be DELETED.

4)You may add pictures yourself to any memorial by clicking on Add Photo.

5)You may use the photos I upload for personal reasons by citing me as the source.

Please follow the guidelines and we'll all have a wonderful experience.

BEANIE & JUNE who helped with the research and the thousands of hours we all have spent looking and developing this site not only for us but for others. Their input for the Auburn cemeteries has been transferred for me to maintain. Records will continue to be added. Any information, links, pictures, etc. are very welcome for all to share.

please make the correction on Donald Alfred Craig. died on Dec 26th 1964. Donald was in 3 different branch's of the Armed Forces. 1st one was He had the rank of Special Forces Rangers during World War 2, from there he joined the Air Force, Then went to Vietnam. After getting out he met the love of his life, Maxine Joy Morgan from Ravendale Ca. They married on Sept 21st of 1949. Maxine's sister Sally married Don's brother Paul Craig. With each having chidren, all the children became double cousin's. Having the same blood running through them. All the rest is correct except the dates and his service records here As I just talked to Maxine and got the correct information here. I am Don's 1st cousin, is why I ask you to please transfer Donald's site back to our family. Thank you, Lenora Collier. Memorial No.47308736

RE: Death Year for Willis H. Crutcher
OK - I used the hyperlink on the father's memorial for the contact info. It looks like someone assigned the father to you. :-)

Death Year for Willis H. Crutcher
The death year for Willis H. Crutcher I (husband of Margaret McDowell) is incorrect - should be 1839. He had 3 children born after 1834.

Also, the death year is 1839 per 'The Descendants of Thomas Crutcher' by Elizabeth McNamara.

You created a lovely memorial for this young man (with burial unknown). I photographed his headstone today at Sierra Hills Memorial Park (Sacramento, CA).

Gordon Meredith 50351142
This child,Gordon Meredith, was buried in the same plot as my great grandfather, Gordon Robinson Cowan in Old Auburn Cemetery. You put that the death date was 10 Nov 1925.

The problem is that my grandparent's child Gordon Meredith was not born until 1927 and died in 1932, so there must be some discrepancy of this death date. I have found a birth cert and death cert for the 1927 - 1932 dates. NO records at all for a child with this name for birth or death on 10 Nov 1925 that you have stated on Find A Grave. It does not state where this date was found. Can you tell me where this death date came from?

NOTE: I know (from my mother) that the child, Gordon Meredith was definitely buried in Old Auburn Cemetery. He might have been buried at Forest Hill first (in the Protestant Cemetery) and then transferred to the Old Auburn Cemetery but I am not sure.

Thank you for letting me know about where this death date came from or if it is correct.

Sincerely, Meredith Richey

I was the person that managed this site. How did you take it over. Please put the management back to me as I just talked to the family and received more information to put on Don Craig 's site, I feel is very important. As he served in 3 different wars to start with. Also found out the unit's he was in. My name is Lenora collier, please do transfer it back into my name so I can make the corrections for the family. Thank you very much. Mrs. Collier

I just wanted to thank you for the beautiful poem you left on my Nephew's memorial. It really touched my heart. I am new to Find a Grave, so it has taken some time to look for all my family. Thank you again!

RE: Roland & A J Finkenbeiner
I found them at East Lawn on Folsom Blvd in Sacramento. I added a photo. It's not a good photo. Down in corner in a dark room. I still remember visiting Roland's grave I thought, in Auburn. Anyway, they are found.
