Thanks for the heads up on that, I have several photo come up like that but didn't catch this one. Don't know how it duplicates them but I know it happens once in a while.

Looking back at my photographs, this cemetery was an accidental find. I remember it was between Elkton and Clifty just off Highway 181. Going north, the small road leading to the cemetery would be to your left. I remember that you could see the cemetery on a hill several feet off of the highway. Another member had already created and setup the memorials for all but one of the marked burials. There were several field stones that possibly correspond with the memorials that I did not post a photograph. Also, I think there are other "Powell" Cemeteries in Todd County. Have a great day, D. L.

Thanks for taking the photos of Charles and Burnette Nichols. I wasn't expecting any photo this time of year considering the weather. Much appreciated!
|Kathleen Kaufmann||RE: Matilda Comstock|
The 1850 census with Parley and Phebe and their children George W., Harlow, Matilda, Henry and Alexander was quite helpful. Phebee Sweet is buried @ Oak Grove Cem. in Lawton as the w/o Parley Robinson. Their son George and Matilda are also buried @ Oak Grove. Alexander is buried @ Prospect Hill and his death certificate gives his mother as Phebe Sweet and father Parley Robinson.
My relationship to Matilda Robinson Comstock is through the marriage of Carrie Pelton to William Lionel Comstock. Carrie is my 2nd cousin 4 times removed.
Hope this has been helpful.
|Kathleen Kaufmann||Matilda Robinson Comstock|
I added the death certificate for Matilda to her Find-a-grave.
