I have just transferred your mother's Find A Grave memorial over to your care.
|Robert Brotherhood||RE: Mary Couchman|
Thank you for the instructions. That was the first time I transferred, and it worked. I think the record is correct now.

Hi Lori,Could please connect her to her husband Curtis? Find A Grave# 29799771 Also she died Oct 3,1939 Thank you Bill
There seems to be duplicate memorials for Thelma Mead in the Lexington Cemetery. Yours has much more info, but the other memorial owner may be related to Thelma. Perhaps a long lost relative of yours???

from findagrave FAQs
'How do I get a relative's memorial transferred to me?
Please contact the Find A Grave member who created the memorial via the "Suggest a Correction" link on the memorial in question with your request to have the memorial transferred to you. Also include in your request your unique Contributor ID # which is displayed to the right of your member name on your profile page.
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. Bulk surname requests should not be made. Be advised that memorials listed as famous or maintained by Find A Grave will not be transferred.
You may also use the "suggest correction" feature to submit corrections, an original biography, and family links to memorials that do not fall under the above defintion.'
Please include RELATIONSHIP for each request.
Karen sent me an email about that today. She told me what plot and where it's located. I know where she's referring and the next time I'm out there I'll check again. I don't get there often as there aren't many requests there but I'll keep the info for when I do. Thanks for the info.
|Karen||Stoddard - Baleville Cem|
The Baleville postings came from several lists I typed into the findagrave database. Don't know the origin of the lists. I found a newer list that has the plot "S1F" for Stoddard. If the person/photo'r checks with the caretaker/office they should locate the plot. There may not be a gravestone.

We went to Baleville Cemetery today and we never did find any Stoddards. We felt we were thorough and the cemetery is not that large.
Karen entered the memorial and her information is good so I don't know why we couldn't find it.
If you could contact the church/cemetery and find the location we'd be happy to go back out and take the pictures.
Sorry we couldn't find them.
My bad..... Sorry no PM. I did send an email to the yahoo email address you have. If you did not get it, then it is below. You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to.
Martin is not related to me. I had received a photo request for Henry P. and Jesse Meyer Traulsen. When I got to the cemetery Martin's stone was right by theirs. I assume he is their son. I try to take photos of obvious family around the requested stone in case the family wants them also, or if perhaps they were unaware of the other relatives.
When I returned with my photos, someone had filled the request, but I posted photos anyhow. Since there was no memorial for Martin, I added him. If you would like control, I can delet my entry and you can keep yours. I am not sure if I can save the photo though, I do not still have it. However, I'm only about fifteen minutes away and can retake it at any time.
