|"Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren".|
"The goal at Find A Grave should not be to manage all of your family members. If you have information to add, you should suggest it to the current manager and they should make the changes."
~Jim Tipton, creator of Find A Grave.
I will gladly transfer within the guidelines and am more than happy to make corrections and additions to those memorials which fall outside of the guidelines. If memorials I've transferred are stripped of the obit or photos, I won't transfer anymore to that person. I do not transfer "all" of any name. Please use virtual cemeteries for the purpose of collecting "all" your relatives.
Please use the edit key for transfers and
changes or corrections.
Photos I take may be used, no need to ask permission, but please give me credit, as FAG photo takers are volunteers who provide their own gas and time to go take photos. Please put "Headstone photo taken by FAG Volunteer, Kathy #47737776" in the description box. Thank you, in advance.
I include the newspaper or funeral home when mentioned for future relatives who are trying to build their family trees. Even though other FAG members feel it is an easy way to "beat me" to the obituary. Shame on you. My purpose is a full and complete memorial.

|CM Drenan||RE: Benjamin & Lavina Drake|
Please email your email address to me at cdrenan at aol dot com so I can attach documents. Proof of his middle name is contained in his 2nd wife's application for pension from his service in the War of 1812. (As well as a family tree that is in the possession of his 3X great grandson which was handwritten in the early 1900's by his grandmother - Benjamin Franklin Dake's great-granddaughter. That will be harder to obtain a copy of because he's in his 80's and lives 1000 miles away in Florida, but I will see what I can do on that one if you need it on top of the Pension application.) The application for pension can be found at Fold3.com but I have a copy in my possession. Not sure what relatives you got the information from, but I have NEVER seen the name Foster in any family records or handed-down stories on our end. If they have some proof of that, I'd love to see it. Are you related as well?

Thank you for the edit info. I also messed up in posting their obits in my family tree and failed to do so on Find A Grave. Fredrich had several brothers I need to focus on locating but I am limited to research at the time as I wont be subscribing to ancestry again for a few months. Again thanks for your help Kathy. Earl
Would you please allow me to maintain my mother's site - Helen Fox #143686646?
I appreciate you caring for so many gravesites when you don't even know the people. Genealogy is also my passion.

|Ann in NH||Walter Gage World War II veteran|
I found Walter Gage listed as a World War II veteran here.
I thought it was important, but if you don't feel comfortable listing him, that's okay.
|Tracey Punzel||RE: Updated obit|
Thank you Kathy...My mother's name Donna Wayczi was omitted from the initial obituary. She is Larry's husband.
I have requested the transfer of my brother, parents and grandparents from you. Are you able to do this or should I contact Ancestry.
|Tracey Punzel||Updated obit|
Please know that Carl Wayczi's obituary had been updated since you posted this. There were several corrections made.please update.

I created the cemetery West Ella Highland in Apple River, Jo Daviess County, Illinois because the Illinois Deaths and Stillbirths Index, 1916-1947 states that burial was in Apple River Twp., Jo Daviess, Ill and the cemetery name was Highland West Ella. I found other burials listed with a cemetery of West Ella-Highland. If there are cemetery records that show she was actually buried in Wisconsin, then I'll move her.
If you would email me privately, I can send you information on my efforts to discover if the two cemeteries were indeed the same, if people dying in Illinois were buried in the Wisconsin cemetery, etc.
