I began my family research project with my father 10 years ago. He was a marvelous oral historian. Yet, we recognized the two fires that destroyed his parents' homes had also taken the pictures and records. I began contacting extended families trying to collect photographs that were lost to us. I have met some marvelous individuals over time that have shared pictures and memories, and I am grateful. After the death of my dad, I decided to continue the project and to that end, I now work primarily on my family surname. But with the wealth of information I have amassed, I am contributing to this website so that others, just like us, will have a tangible piece of family history.
If you find a memorial I have created for a member of your family, please request a transfer of management, I will be glad to do so. Should you see an error, need to link a family member, send me an edit request.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~* My purpose is to link the generations, not to create quantity, rather quality. My goal is to provide family history footprints......
~*~*~*~*~*~*~* With help from Find A Grave members & their contacts, I am now a member of the Daughter's of the American Revolution through my maternal grandmother, Leno Kathryn Williams Poland. Thank you all so very much, it is an honor working with so many dedicated individuals who volunteer their time and effort to those of us so far away.
May Adamson Gillespie. 95261655 You are welcome, it was no problem to make the updates. Just wondering if you are related to her? I am descended from her father's younger brother John, who remained in Indiana.
Hattie Southerland I have been doing some research for a book I am writing on children that were sent to the Kentucky Children's Home. I found Hattie Southerland had married George Washington Moon. Please email me a phone number where you can be reached. I would like to talk to you.
Rinckle Marsha I will be taking a picture of Matthew Rinckel's headstone in a few days when the weather turns a little more favorable. I wondered if this was a family search for you? I had some obituary information if needed.
I was asked to delete the duplicate memorials of George and his wife in the Kcikapoo Cemetery by KC Jayhawker because I maintain them. They were transferred to me so I cannot delete them but I have made a request to Find A Grave to make that correction.
Angelia Roberson has also sent me a few emails about the Logans. I like you think it is great to have so many people go the extra mile to providing correct information.
Hopefully the incorrect duplicates will be deleted soon.
