I've made plenty of mistakes starting out.
Still making corrections. If you find something that needs attention, let me know.

1)read the FAQs

2)It is not necessary to manage a memorial. Owners will update it if you ask.

3)It is your responsibility to suggest a correction/addition (submit a SAC) the proper way. Read the guidelines. Requests not made in this manner or left on this page will be DELETED.

4)You may add pictures yourself to any memorial by clicking on Add Photo.

5)You may use the photos I upload for personal reasons by citing me as the source.

Please follow the guidelines and we'll all have a wonderful experience.

BEANIE & JUNE who helped with the research and the thousands of hours we all have spent looking and developing this site not only for us but for others. Their input for the Auburn cemeteries has been transferred for me to maintain. Records will continue to be added. Any information, links, pictures, etc. are very welcome for all to share.

RE: Michael Hohmann
Thanks for the prompt response. I appreciate your willingness to my changes and all the work you do for Find-a-Grave. I wish I could help you edit to save you the work. There were nine Shepherd children of Orlando Edmunson Shepherd (#8003569) and Sarah Ann Leake Shepherd (#8003570):

1) John California Shepherd, #94109740, yours.
2) Mary Catherine Shepherd (1852-1907), has no memorial; said to be buried in the Greenwood Pioneer Cemetery as Mrs. Mary Hudson, age 55;
3) Amelia Amanda Shepherd Hohmann. #43403068, yours;
4) Joseph Henry Shepherd, #94563682
5) George Washington "Pete" Shepherd, #42065192, yours;
6) Martha Ellen "Nettie: Shepherd Hannay, #87213250, listed as Martha E. Hanna.
7) Elizabeth "Lizzie" Shepherd Gorman, #94550657;
8) David Lewis Shepherd, #99685767;
9) Michael Andrew Shepherd, born 4 Dec 1872 and died 4 Nov 1934; died at Sacramento County Hospital; said to be buried at Sylvan Cemetery near Roseville, but I haven't found a memorial for him.

Note: Anita Marsine Shepherd Davis (#131704695) and Rudolph Henry Shepherd (#79691894) were two of the six children of Joseph Henry Shepherd (#4 above) and not siblings of the above.

Thanks again,

Finkenbeiner Graves
Re 74663967 and 74663526
We messaged each other last year re Roland & AJ Finkenbeiner.
We had figured they must be in New Auburn, but...They are not in New Auburn Cemetery. I was there today looking. No record of them in office records. There is no record of them in the old and new Auburn cemetery. I am going to pursue until I find them . Before AJ died her and I use to take flowers for Roland. But I can't remember where/what cemetery it was. I'll let you know when I do find them.

Jesse Ervin McDaniels
Dear Glenda,
I appreciate your entry for Jesse Ervin McDaniels. I see that you have exact dates for his birth and marriage which do not appear on his tombstone.

I was wondering where you found that more detailed information. I would be glad to contact whomever has that if you can just direct me where to write. Might it be in the cemetery records? Or in some other place?

This is the first time I have sent a message like this. It was in 2010 that I submitted all my pictures of tombstones. I haven't been able to remember, get and/or reset my password.

I am concerned that I will not be able to get your response, because I cannot access my old email. So this is my newer email address:

I apologize for my ignorance about how these requests are done. I hope you can give me some direction.

Thank you very much for your help.
