YES, Samuel married Mary Carlton 25 Apr 1761 at Boxford, Essex Co, MA. Samuel Ayer signed the Association Test in 1776 in Weare, NH. He served as a private from NH under Capt. Aaron Quimby and Col. Moses Kelley. His son Thomas was born in Weare, NH 7 April 1776. He is in the NSDAR database as ancestor #A203682, via his son Thomas.
