Since our marriage in 1977, we have also called Kansas City and Springfield, Missouri home. Being a native Californian, I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Lauri is a native of South Korea, but was raised in Hutchinson, Kansas.

My interest in genealogy began when I became curious about hundreds of old black and white snapshots of long departed relatives in my grandma's old photo albums. After a little research, I began discovering old obituaries, newspaper clippings and other family memorabilia. I had gone to Find A Grave in search of information about little known relatives and became hooked. We decided to post as much of our family history as possible by linking up memorials of various ancestors.
