Bio Photo Hi Everyone,

I'm doing genealogy research on my family and was referred to this website. Would like to help others in their research. I believe in the saying, "Pay It Forward."

Thank you to all those who have added additional information to the memorials that I have listed. Appreciate your dedication to this site. Thank you Find a Grave for adding the updated "Edit" tab.

God Bless and have a great day.

FAG Guidelines:

Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request.

Explain your relationship in the request! Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred.

Emma I Glasshagel
Hi Ruth

I came across your entry for Emma I Glasshagel where you have added her maiden name. I am searching for an ancestor with a similar name and wonder what evidence you have for the maiden name. There are some discrepancies, and if cleared up this would really solve some problems for me. Can you contact me? While I am from Melrose Park, I live in Sweden now. I really look forward to hearing from you.

RE: Memorials
For the sake of the persons not aware:
When you click on a member's name and look under "Contributions to Find A Grave" Ruth you have at the moment "10,417 Memorials Added" and "10,276 Memorials Managed" and myself have "1,461 Memorials Managed" and "1,915 Memorials Managed". Since neither your "10,417 Memorials Added" or "10,276 Memorials Managed" is highlighted nobody can click on them and see which memorials you added or manage, however my "1,461 Memorials Added" and "1,915 Memorials Managed", it is highlighted and everybody in the world can see which memorials I added or managed. Hopefully, I expressed myself clearly now and you might be able to answer my original question.

I see that your memorials that you added or managed are not accessible. I am thinking that I should do the same. Did you make a special request to Find A Grave?

Pvt James C Atkins
I came across your photo of the grave of Pvt James C Atkins (Evergreen Cemetery, Hanover, Jo Daviess County, Illinois, USA) and was wondering if you came across his wife Martha C. (Oman), or her parents Ann and Henry Oman. Ann died in Hanover in 1866, I do not know when Martha and Henry died. Thanx Claire

RE: Henry Vallette
Your welcome,I have been working on the Vallette and updating on my family tree, and with each member I am checking here to see if there is a memorial and if not creating one., and making sure is member is linked to our common ancestor. Plus it keeps me busy since i am disabled and came no longer work. And the rearch is fun and interesting.

RE: Carol Mae Pitzer's photo
Hello! I had heard that Carol's daughter was buried in the same cemetery, but I did not know her married name. Little did I know that she was buried with her maiden name and near her mother! Thank you for also taking this photo!
