Great bio - thank you!
You want me to link Elvira Williams (1892-1905) as his wife. Was this a mistake in memorial numbers or did Dugald have two wives? I linked Mary Crumback to him as his wife.
|Laurie Thompson||Werner Kaufman|
Hello, Werner Kaufman was my Grandfather's Step Dad and Myrtle Kaufman was his Mother. I was just wondering if you are related or no someone who is? Thanks for the information you added.
thanks for help with mount hope entries ie: Sarah Anderson. :)
Have had to be very careful adding info and links as there have been many people giving wrong info lately.
|Julia Schalk||RE: Forest Fletcher|
Yes, James was my father. He married my mom, Mary Margaret Thompson in 1942. The are buried in Calvary Cemetary in Evanston, Il. Curiously, my dad hated his middle name of Cahill, and after graduating college used Timothy as his middle name. He served in the Navy during WWII, stationed in Washington DC. I am the youngest of four, and thankfully, we are all alive. Thanks for sharing the Fletcher information, George. I'll add it to my Fletcher side on Ancestry. By the way, I never met any of my Fletcher kin as the Fletchers didn't stay close.
|Julia Schalk||Forest Fletcher|
Hi, George. I am Forest Fletcher's first cousin once removed. I have not been able to find other Fletcher's. It does not appear that Forest had children. As you noted his father, Sidney is buried at Rosehill Cemetary, as is my grandfather James. Another brother, Art, was buried in a pauper section. Those sites are moved when more sections have to open up. There is no headstone for Art. Are you related to the Fletcher's? If you have any information regarding cousins who are around, I'd appreciate your letting me know.

Hi, Since you have added a flower to this memorial, you may like to know that I have just uploaded photographs of the panel with his name.
|Janet Wright||Sarah Thomson Williams|
Hello George, I was excited to see the information you posted for Sarah Thomson Williams #134437820. Can you tell me the source of the information on the memorial ("arrived from Glasgow in NY on July 12, 1843, on the ship, “Caledonia,” etc.)? Also could you make a family link to connect her to husband William Henry Williams? Thanks so much! Janet Wright
|Looking Into The Past||Maynard Hotel Fire|
Hello Mr. Russell. I am writing an article about Bowmanville and I'd like to include a section about the fire at the Maynard Hotel, but I have been unable to find any newspaper articles regarding this incident. Would you be able to point me in the right direction? Thank you!
