Bio Photo My photographs are to preserve the tombstone record and I would no more deface a photograph than I would deface the tombstone itself.
Please feel free to use my photographs. I am happy to know that people are interested in my memorials.

Caroline M. H. Miller
I just found your request to add her obituary from November. Oops. I have added it to Caroline's memorial. Sorry for the delay.

As best as I can remember Walter is always listed as single.

RE: Hagaman
The book must be in error. Though Walter & Charlotte may have seemed a couple they are always listed as brother & sister in census records. Frank (their son according to the book) does show up,as Frank Weska in the 1920 census as "adopted son" but by 1930 had taken the Hagaman name. The wording is confusing but I think the reference to J W Chaffee doesn't relate to Charlotte.

RE: Jeminah Merkel
1910 census shows the mother (Esther/Hettie Merkel) as having 7 children, 5 living. Works out well. Her obituary later that year gives 5 surviving children and then there are the two little ones Jeminah and Anna Esther buried there in Maxatawny so it works out just right. Thanks.

RE: Shaver/ Whitney
Hey Liz! I noticed the change when I was adding their son Charles Thompson. Great. I tracked down two more of the Shaver kids (John & Margaret née Shaver Spalding) & put in edit requests to link them to Michael & Sarah. No luck finding their daughter Mary Jane (she married Thomas Wright in 1876 but he died in 1877 (his plinth is next to the Shavers) & I can't find anything further on her).

You were right - the memorial at Fairmount was a duplicate. Thanks for catching it. It's been deleted.
