Born in Middlebury's Porter Hospital and always lived in Bristol VT. I have genealogies of many of our families in Chittenden and Addison County. I live with my wife, Denny, and sons Jonathan and Jacob. Don't be afraid to ask me to turn over any of the memorials. You are welcome to use my pictures but photo credits would be nice. I am happy to transfer anyone not related to me so that they can go to someone that knows them. I will not delete all grave pics to make room for family pics.|
****Please use the EDIT button for additions, transfers and corrections*****
Please do not move your Burial Unknown into the correct cemetery based on the information you found from my memorial & then demand that I delete my duplicate. Memorials listed in the incorrect cemetery also fall under the category of an Unknown Burial because the burial place was obviously unknown if the person is listed in the wrong cemetery. For further information on this, please refer to how Find a Grave handles duplicate memorials. I do also make mistakes but this is find a grave site not add an obituary.

Hi Alan: I was looking for info on my gr grandmother Addie Hart. Her sister was Hattie Hart. I know where Addie is buried because I knew her when I was young. I found Hattie's find a grave on line and found that she was buried in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. I had a question because I could not find where she married someone by Germaine. I know that her 1st husband was Fred Wainwright, but I didn't know Germaine. I finally looked up who kept the records of St. Joseph's Cemetery. The catholic cemeteries are kept by different parishes. St. Joseph is St. Ambrose Parish, 802-453-2488, Tues & Fri only. The secretary there after I gave her Hattie's name looked up records. In a record of who bought graves, this plot is the Hart Plot. Hattie is in Grave 7 so I thought if there she was #7 who were the others. She told me.The only one she didn't know was #8. It was listed only as an uncle of Guy Wainwright, Hattie's son, who died in 1977. I feel it might be Margaret Hart's husband,Walter McCauley but I can't find a death date for him. If you could find it I'd appreciate it. His date of death and Michael P Hart & Anhobie Hart dates of death I cannot find so it has to be one of them that is buried there. George Esposito. Rose is buried in Vergennes Vt. in St. Peters Cemetery. She is buried with her son Arthur Jandreau. She is my great grand mother.

You don't need to do that. I do have some pics for your page, though. I will see what I can up load for Linda, Joe, and Kelly.

Thank you, Alan, for the lovely tribute to my Sister and Brother-in-law. Btw, I was born at Porter Hospital, too, and I am a Genealogist, also. Must have been something in that Middlebury water..

Hi Alan, thank SO much for sending a photo of my ancestor, Nathaniel Wells. I hope to visit Vermont some day, as that is where my paternal side of the family resided, and many buried at the cemetery. Again thank you. Much appreciated.

I was hoping that you would be willing to turn over my father, William Francis White's memorial to me….
I am his third daughter and would love to take care of his memorial.
|Bev Brown||Rhoda Morocco|
Rhoda 'Morocco' is the correct spelling..& not 'Meroco', as.. is on her grave stone! This is the reason I couldn't find her grave. Searching since 2001! Thank you so much for taking this photo of Rhoda's grave stone! Her husband, Amos, died abt 1855..but he is not there! They are my g.g.g.grandparents.Her children: Rhoda Olive (Freeman/Smith/ (Isaac) Prince)b.1822-- Harriet (Jedediah) Emery,b.1818-- Eliza (Silas) Crosier,b.1806---Julia Ann (John Francis) Jackson b.1821 all born in Bristol,VT!
Rhoda(1782-1884) & Amos(1772-1855) were born in Connecticut.
